I stopped by Longs drug waipahu just to pick up my medicine and no plans to shop, but a few sale items caught my eye. When I went to check out, a sweet senior lady named Kathleen noticed I was holding my prescription and a receipt. She kindly asked if I had checked for any discounts, and when I said no, she took a moment to look it over for me.
To my surprise, she found $6 discount i could use right away. Then asked if i wanted to upgrade my Longs drug card, which will give me another $10 off with my purchase today.
She was incredibly helpful, friendly,and genuinely cared about helping me save not just today but on future visits too.
We chatted a bit, and she mentioned she would have retired years ago but chooses to keep working for her health. I completely admired that and told her how much I appreciated her kindness.
My original total was $37 and thanks to Kathleen, it dropped to $19! People like her truly make a difference.

Selection is good but the building is nasty. It smells like cat pee and the AC vents are covered in dirt or mold. I could feel an asthma attack coming on while shopping.

Longs Drugs in Waipahu is a wonderful part of this community. I have had prescriptions filled and walk in Covid and Flu immunizations, for which the wait time was minimal. The pharmacists are welcoming and knowledgeable. I have bought personal care products and school and household supplies. There are also a range of food and grocery items and adult beverages for your next gathering. Kath C recently checked me out and she exemplifies the friendly and professional assistance that I always receive at Longs Drugs. Longs Drugs is my go-to first-stop shop for all my shopping needs.

I bought a giftcard, opened it at home, the paper ripped with the sticker, and I came backt eh next day to switch it they kept saying no refunds, wasting $37 and I couldn't even buy my subscriptions what the actual bullshit.

Terrible service. At least 10 to15 people standing in each of the 2 LINES OPEN 😡 This is actually the 'norm' here. Staff is always pleasant and efficient but Management needs to have more cashiers available per shift.

The reason it’s not lower is because staff is fine but store is ALWAYS out of sales items. On my recent visit they were out of the kalua pork, cream of mushroom soup, and lychee. They are always out of something when I go there. I do more of my shopping elsewhere. Lastly why do they have all those shopping carts secured if they are not letting customers use them?

I went to longs waipahu looking for make up for my mom. I had no clue what I was looking for but Jenny Dao was so helpful and friendly, she found me exactly what my mom needed. She has helped me everytime I've gone in there. She answered all my questions. Thank u Jenny
