I recently visited Midas of Waipahu for an oil change appointment, and I was absolutely blown away by the honesty and professionalism of their team.
Finding a trustworthy mechanic can be challenging, but Midas has truly exceeded my expectations.
When I arrived for my oil change, the technician took the time to thoroughly check my car and informed me that my oil still looked good.
They even showed me the oil life on my car and explained that the oil color was still in great condition.
Instead of just going ahead with the service and charging me unnecessarily, they provided genuine advice and saved me money.
Even though no work was done today, their honesty was greatly appreciated.
In contrast, I know many other shops would have just gone forward with the work without considering if it was really needed.
This level of transparency and integrity is rare in the automotive industry, and it really impressed me.
Thank you for restoring my faith in auto repair shops!

The service was excellent! The Front office ladies were very kind and very friendly! The price for my safety check was quoted just under 30 dollars. The tech came back and stated that he could not pass me without replacing my windshield wipers. He quoted me 41.99 per wiper blade. Total the price went from just under 30 dollars to 139.00. I was shocked! 2 wiper blades made my total increase go up 100 bucks. Nuts. I decided to get it done anyway because I had to be back to work. All the employees were friendly and kind. The money charged for 2 blades was really high, and more than i paid for them brand new from Orileys. I know not to ever come back here for this service. I also know now to inspect my wiper blades before I get my safety done again!
