My son has been attending Quick Stars for a few months and have made tremendous progress. He's gained so much confidence which has helped him get accepted into a private school for Kindergarten. We absolutely love Ms. Charline, my son has been with other tutors, but she has this special talent and works so well with the younger keiki. She is remarkably patient and is such a blessing in our little guy's life. This investment has surely paid off.

We are so happy with Quick Stars Tutoring. The one hour tutoring sessions fit into our busy family schedule. Quickstars tutoring was flexible and accommodating when were werenʻt able to make our scheduled session for the week. Our son enjoyed having Mike as his tutor. He was so nice and personable and helped to give our son confidence in himself and his learning capabilities. Our son was able to increase his language arts test score in a short amount of time. We were so surprised and excited when we recently found out that he got into Kamehameha Schools for 10th grade. Thank you Quick Starts Tutoring for helping our son reach his academic goals.

My son has been a student at quikstar tutoring for the past year. He had a rough beginning at the start of the school year. With the help of Dr. Mike, Tracy and consistently putting in the hard work he was able to improve in all subjects at school. I’m very thankful to Dr. Mike for helping my son to open up and reach a higher level in his education as well as Tracy for placing him on a consistent schedule to help him improve. I would highly recommend this company if you are seeking tutoring services for your children!

My daughter has been a student at Quick Stars Tutoring for maybe 2 years now and we've seen her flourish. We weren't sure if our daughter was speech delayed or just shy, but we wanted to get her going when it came to academics in case she was somewhat behind or would have any difficulties in the future.
We opted for quick stars because it seemed like a decent place to start her off, fees were reasonable, location was close to our home and it seemed to have good reviews. What we liked most about it was that the sessions could be 30 min, which we thought was perfect for a 3 year old when we were first starting out.
We started out on weekdays but soon realized it was hard to make the sessions due to traffic and opted to switch to weekends. I am so thankful we did because our tutor on the weekends ended up being the most sweetest woman whom my daughter adored. Her name is Joanna. My daughter really took a liking to Ms. Joanna and enjoys going to see her for tutoring. Over the course my daughter learned a lot. At 4 years old she was reading simple reader books and at 5 years old can now read paragraphs at a time.
Traci, who runs the business is not only the big boss but also a tutor as well. We've never had her as a tutor but as the lead, she does a great job at accommodating schedules and being flexible which our family really appreciated. Being flexible with scheduling really is something we look for since things can happen out of the blue when it comes to life.
We decided to test our daughter for private school and thanks to Ms. Joannas help, she was able to get acceptances to both 'Iolani and Punahou.

I reached out to Tracy seeking support on increasing my son's preparedness throughout the KS admissions process . He began working with Mrs. Joanna an hour every week June - end of January. Not only did my son learn valuable, standardized test-taking strategies from Mrs. Joanna, but also she provided me with specific feedback and resources to support my son in between sessions. We continue to apply what we learned. We did earn our desired outcome, but his growth (self-confidence and -efficacy) really goes beyond a private school admissions process and acceptance. YES(!), he was accepted to KS. Quick Stars Tutoring and Mrs. Joanna have positively impacted my son and his learning.

I highly recommend Quick Stars Tutoring. My daughter finally got to a math level that I couldn’t help her anymore because it’s been ages since I took Algebra. Tracy and her staff are always friendly and helpful and my daughter says that the material is explained in a way that she understands. From the first session, my daughter has shown major improvements in her schoolwork and is currently an A student. The tutoring sessions has been a real confidence booster and my only regret is that I waited so long to get a tutor.

Quick Stars Tutoring has been amazing for my son! All the tutors are incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive. Thanks to their help, he was accepted into his top-choice schools, Punahou and Iolani! The SSAT is a tough exam, but Quickstars made a huge difference, boosting his score from 50% to 92%! My son enjoys the sessions so much that we’ve continued tutoring even after the test prep. The tutors have been instrumental in improving his English and Math skills, keeping him ahead of his grade level while supporting his schoolwork. I can’t recommend Quick Stars enough!

We’ve had outstanding tutors working with our children on test and interview prep and opportunities for improvement. I like how after each session, the tutors will debrief the work with us. Our kids enjoy going to their sessions and never complain about doing so, which tells me that their tutors are kind and very student-focused. I highly recommend Quickstar. Both of our kids were accepted to the private school of their choice, thanks to their Quickstar experience.

When my daughter first started geometry classes at school, she was failing miserably and we needed a tutor asap. We found Quick Stars Tutoring and it was the best decision ever. Tracy is amazing and just a few sessions she was able to help my daughter comprehend and understand the math problems in a way she wasn't understanding from her own teacher. My daughter looks forward going to her weekly sessions as her math skills have definitely improved and I have seen a light of
confidence in her that I never saw before. Tracy is an amazing tutor and the attention to detail that she provides on her one on one definitely has proven results as my daughter went from below passing to a passing grade in just a short time. Very pleased with the outcome and I highly recommend Quick Stars if your in need of a tutor for your child.

My son has been a struggling reader ever since he was entered elementary school (he is currently a 6th grader). As parents, my wife and I spent many long and frustrating evenings working with our son to try and improve his skills. Not only did we not see the improvements we were looking for, we felt he began to overly depend on us to get his work completed. I decided to send our son to tutoring and after researching several organizations, we picked Quick Stars because they provide 1-1 tutoring. We chose the 10 session plan for 30 minutes each. By selecting this plan, you get the 11th session free. I am so glad we enrolled our son with Quick Stars! After about 6-7 sessions, I noticed improvements in my son’s decoding & comprehension skills. More impressively, my son has gained a sense of working independently, no longer depending on his parents to get his work done. Several times, I told him we need to get his Quick Stars homework done and he responded with, “I’m done already. I did it last night”. My immediate thought was that most of the work was not done correctly and that I’d have to help him redo it. When I checked his work, most of his answers were correctly done. I had to check with my wife to make sure she didn’t help him and that he indeed did it himself. This never (I stress, never!) happened before Quick Stars. His tutor Charline is patient and understands how to teach struggling students. I have already reached out to Quick Stars to renew our 10 session plan and also requested Charline as my son’s tutor. I wish we had enrolled our son years ago.

Quick stars tutoring is fantastic!!! It’s not like sylvan learning where they stick you in front of a computer and not like kumon where you repeatedly do worksheets. It is a one on one with an actual instructor that will actually teach your kid to understand the concepts versus memorization. My daughter has only been attending quick start tutoring for about a month and a half and her teacher already saw a big improvement. She went from below grade level to meeting her grade level. To top it all off she never argues with me to go. She enjoys going to tutoring. I highly recommend this place if your kids are needing any type of tutoring or help in school.

Quick Stars Tutoring, definitely a 5 star program. Prior to working with my son, he was on track to barely passing on one of his core subjects. He attended study help and block sessions with his instructor after school, however that still did not help him. After a couple of tutoring sessions, his math scores were above and beyond expectations. The tutors provide a clear understanding of the areas that my son struggled with. This program is worth investing in your child.

We sent our daughter to Quickstars specifically for Kamehameha kindergarten test prep. The owner, Tracy, tutored her and she was awesome! She told us what to work on at home and recommended apps to get her comfortable with the iPad. Our daughter was prepared for testing and was accepted to Kamehameha Schools for kindergarten. We recommended another friend to Quickstars and she was accepted to Kamehameha Schools as well!

Quick Stars Tutoring has been a tremendous help! Prior to working with my son, he was on track to barely passing on one of his core subjects. Within a couple of tutoring sessions, he began to improve his trajectory towards the end of the quarter. His tutor provided clear communication, guidance with helping him to understand and feel confident on the subject matter resulting in a much better grade.

I really love working with Tracy. This woman works so very hard, is accommodating, and just plain down to earth. She is kind, skilled, experienced, and professional. Both of my kids are excelling. She has helped my 4 year old learn how to read (simply of course) and with her help she is one of the top in her class and should have been placed in Kinder this year. Unfortunately I met with the dean at her school, and due to her birthday, Maryknoll will not allow her to skip a grade. Tracy has made my son's homework easier, and with her services she has helped him receive a 3.74 high honors GPA his first quarter.One of the things that I love and appreciate about Tracy is that she goes above and beyond the extra mile to accommodate. I requested to receive tutoring for my kids at 3 each week. Because she couldn't find any tutor available at that time, nor did she feel comfortable with hiring someone fresh to work with us (as we were new clients at the time) Tracy herself drove from Ewa side to work with us at her Honolulu location. You cannot deny that is pure dedication and communicate.I've watched Tracy tutor my son and she is very bright, patient and can teach all levels and so many different subjects. Her handwriting is clear and is classic teacher writing, and when she does math she shows it step by step demonstrating precision. Honestly, we've had tons of really great tutors at other places as we previously lived out of state, but hands on Tracy is really one of the best. She sincerely cares about all of her clients and really listens to you as a parent, and what you would like to accomplish. As a business owner to a customer, she is everything you could ask for. Tracy really does work very hard for her 5 star rating, as it is accurate and she truly has earned it.
