Nice staff, good chicken selection. Their heat lamps don’t last long. I bought one for my chicks and it lasted about a week. I made it back to the store three minutes before they closed to get another one so the chicks wouldn’t freeze overnight, because of that I didn’t have time to ask for a return and replacement, so I just bought another one, a two pack. Each of them also only lasted a week. The box says 5000 hours and a week is about 168 hours… about 3% of the advertised time. I came back and talked to them about it, they were very nice. They returned the two pack I bought and said I could replace it with a new one. But apparently I bought the two pack when it was on sale so they made me pay the remaining six dollars for this new two pack even though it is not my fault that their merchandise failed. I will no longer be shopping here. If you want heat lamps, you might consider going somewhere else.

Came in to look at getting chicks for the first time and didn’t know exactly what I needed. The gentleman who was helping take care of the chicks assisted us tremendously. He took his time to explain everything to us and even took us around the store to get everything we needed. The only thing I wish is that the girls up front get more training in assisting customers as I’ve called and not getting proper responses. Lots of I don’t know, I can’t say when. Had to speak to the manager to even get answers for something very simple. Said they didn’t have chicks but went there to find they had a ton of them and no they didnt just receive them either.

I like this shop but they told me they had something and when I got there it was not the right sized one. I got it at Walmart next door.

Purchased mulch and potting soil. No one offered to help load and no one even checked my quantity. I could have loaded a truck full but I'm an honest person. I noticed 3 employees in a group chat, smoking in the parking lot.

I gave it four chances. I'm a black guy new to Idaho. This is my fourth visit to this store and for the fourth time after I enter a manager sends a loss prevention specialist to follow me through the store to question me. I'm not a thief and I have spent thousands at this store. Never again will I return. You lost my business at every location. This was distasteful, embarrassing and I don't need to be profiled while picking up goods. This doesn't require a response as I would never do business there again.

They fire hard working individuals who have assisted this company for many years, and dedicated a vast amount of time to make this store a better place. It's amazing the disregard a company can have for someone, after helping said company turn profits in many different aspects, while assisting with every department in the store and covering bases that no other shoes could fill. The basis for termination was an absolute joke. In today's world, the executives of this cooperation might want to consider that beyond the dollar signs they see, hardworking and loyal employee's are few and far between.

I went to 2 stores to pick up a stock tank they said they had in stock online, and when I attempted to call ahead of time to check if that had them on hand they didn’t answer after I called twice

If you're looking for farm and ranch, this is the place. They have a good selection of the products they carry . the quality of goods is exceptional.

On the positive side, nice selection on animal feeds and comparable prices to other retailers. However, prices on shelf vs. at the register varied by $5, and the cashier did not even want to have the tagged price confirmed.

Have looked at pellet grills for several weeks and have become interested in a particular Camp Chef. The C-A-L Ranch email I received this past weekend had the one I was interested in at $200 dollars off. I immediately went on-line and made the purchase. The transaction went through with my credit card being charged. Two days later I received an email which said, "Your order number *******17 has had a bit of a hiccup. The item(s) below are out of stock and have been removed from your order. Rest assured, no charges will be placed on your account for the unavailable item(s). " I went to the store and found the exact Camp Chef model sitting there on the floor. Note only that, the flyer of today has that same model on sale at a considerably higher price. MY credit card has been charged not only once, but three times. Doesn't seem to be honest business practices!!! I suggest avoiding C-A-L Ranch if at all possible.

You are always on your own here .. and have met one employee who actually knew anything. I was looking at clothes and there were two retailers complaining non stop
