First timer there and I had a blast. I went during scarywood halloween time and the rides along with the haunted attractions were amazing. It's super fun and it was packed with people so it was kind of hard going through the attractions with how crowded it was. Other than that the food was also good priced and the experience was great

1st timer. Went for scarywood ,haunted houses were amazing. Road 1 roller coaster due to lines and it was closing. It's totally worth the trip, and I can't wait to go back for the water park in 2025.
my husband and I are older so I highly suggest good shoes as you will be doing lots of walking and standing. Bring gloves and beanie on cold nights. It started off cold but warmed up once the sun went down. I brang my own wheel chair as it's smaller and lite ,handicap parking is right at the gate, which makes it even easier to access the park.
I didn't use handicap lines for rides as I Didn't know how that worked and coulsnr find much imformation but will keep it in mind for next time. standing in line for almost 2 hrs is hard for handicap people.

Get there early to beat the lines. Go to the big roller coasters first.

Been going to Silverwood since literally before I can remember, and I still come back! It's the perfect theme park, with plenty to do for anyone of any age. I genuinely can't think of anything to write that wouldn't turn into a hundred pages, because that's what it would take to list everything you can do here!
If you've never been to Silverwood, riding the rides is obvious, and they're a blast. But make sure you don't skip the shows. Check out live music and dancing at the High Moon Saloon, be absolutely amazed by the world-class magic show at the Theater of Illusion, or get off your feet and catch your breath with some Three Stooges at the Main Street Theater. Think a train ride sounds boring? It's absolutely not, and has been my favorite part of the park for 30 years!
The food is also top notch here. Arrive early so you can fit in as many meals as possible! My personal favorite is the Chuckwagon's all you can eat BBQ, but Lindy's is always a great option too, and you've got about 20 more things to choose from between the two!
Arrive early, stay late. Even being here from open to close, you'll be spending your drive back home talking about the things you want to try next time!
Make sure you come in October for Scarywood, as they bring you a whole new selection of experiences to enjoy! Terrifying haunts, rollercoasters running backwards, a new magic show... Don't miss it!

We had a lot of fun. Rides for all ages. Loved the water park. The kids went on the new water coaster and loved it. We also enjoyed the wave pool and lazy river. The magic show was good. Food prices were decent.
We did have a few issues with customer service at the food stands, but otherwise the staff were great.
Would recommend a more sensory friendly train experience for people with sensory issues ( quieter music, warning before the train whistle).

I love Silverwood! living so far away I have learned a few tricks for making the most of my stay as a tent camper. You save quite a bit if you visit the park 3 days in a row. reserve your spot at the campgrounds at least a month in advance for 4 nights in a row if you dont plan on getting there before 4pm. They do sell a half day pass. I recommend a spot closer to the store with power. bring an extension cord, electric blanket, and a lamp and an inflatable mattress. It gets cold at night. I've seen people bring mini fridges even a mini microwave. Silverwood has lots of food options in the park. I recommend the ice cream. the servings are huge! I spend the hot part of the day at boulder beach then later the lines at the coasters were a lot shorter. There is a lot to see and do and the 3 days will fly by. Check out their website. Also plan on wearing swimwear not shorts with snaps, buttons or zippers, you will not be allowed on the water slides. There's 2 restrooms/showers at the campgrounds. The one in the middle is bigger. And there's lots of hot water if you dont mind staying up . All in all it's a fun place and costs a lot less than most theme parks with all the rides and things to do at no extra cost. Have Fun!

I bought a Scarywood ticket for my teenager to go with his friends. They refused to let him in because he didn't have the card that purchased the ticket. I read through the email, FAQs tab and the What you need to know tab and NOTHING states that showing the card that made the purchase was required. THEY STOLE MY MONEY AND WON'T REFUND IT!
EDIT: my son provided a picture of a credit card that wasn't the purchasing card and the number couldn't be made out due to color contrast issues. This was accepted. In no way does that act protect them from a chargeback as they stated in their response. It's simply an extra barrier to entry so only those with the privilege of a picture of a card can enter. Pointless. Shameful. You've lost a life long patron over this useless requirement. Good job.

Gave silverwood another shot and bought a gold pass again hoping things would be better this year. Some of the rides seem to go down often ( stunt pilot and aftershock mainly ) Only able to use it twice due to medical problems my wife had. Not there fault and although I appreciated the effort from RC, top management would provode no refund or no discount on a renewal next year. They gave us 3 passes for next year even though I told them I planned to renew next year. I appreciate the help I have recieved from RC in customer service. As a whole we had the same experince with scarywood this year and had to buy online passes at full price with no help due to not recieving any info on the dates we would get a discount on scarywood. I looked at the calander and planned a trip with my wife and 3 other couples for what appeared to be the first weekend of scarywood on the online calander. I did call and speak with someone but wasnt given dates in the summer ( similiar experience to last year) I dont understand why they dont send out any info (we have given our email) or work with gold pass members on a solution that makes sense and doesnt get 3 more people in the park when we would rather have recieved 3 tickets off my renewal. Based on what I was told it seems top management is all about $$$ and not customer service. It sucks cause I have loved this place since my childhood and its an annual pastime for our extended family to camp nearby and take all of our kids to experience what we did as kids.
Also it seems like they respond to a lot more positive reviews but half as many negative reviews and rarely provide a solution or contact unless it is something they could get sued for. I really wish this wasnt the case.

I liked most the rides. Same old. I wish there was an option to get in without paying for things though. Like my husband doesn't do rides but we still had to pay an entry fee. They should do a wrist band option and a lessor fee. Most the games and attractions were extra anyway. Honestly if my kids didn't get free tickets, I'd never go. Too much. The wait time for rides was stupid long too. The usual.

Me and the wife had a fun time and even though we showed up a bit late we were able to ride every roller coaster there and even rode a couple of them twice

Basically a budget Disneyland. Good rides and carnival games. There's also a really good and cheap arcade. The prizes that you can buy with the tickets aren't that great but it's still fun just to play the games. The carnival games are quite expensive so I'd recommend doing the arcade instead if you're just wanting to have some fun with the games. The best part about this park is the food. It's absolutely delicious and it's all fairly cheap as well. A two-scoop ice cream is more like 8 scoops all squished together so I'd say it's definitely worth it. The waterpark was closed for the season which we were a little bummed out about. Personally I think it should stay open as long as the weather is nice, but we still had fun just going to the theme park. The only other complaint I have is that the hours are very short. Unlike Disneyland which is open 16 hours a day, Silverwood is only open 7 hours, which gave us substantially less time to do everything we wanted to do. Other than that, we had a great day at the park!

What an awesome place! We stayed at the campground and had so much fun that we ended up staying an extra day. Very clean safe and friendly environment. The staff was overly friendly and happy to have customers.
Took some drone photos before we took off for the day!

Silverwood was always so much fun when I was a kid and I recently took my kids there to experience it. They loved the rides but the not using cash at the park is ridiculous and Very inconvenient. They loose a lot of money for sure. I probably won’t be spending anymore time here unfortunately. Such a pain to have to load the wrist band or card with money before you can buy ANYTHING. Never thought I would see my home state do this cashless crap.
