We were driving through Idaho on our way back from Yellowstone and we stopped by the Potato museum. We came in to look at the fudge and was not disappointed! The fudge was super soft and really good. The owner was extremely polite and very friendly. We also tried the huckleberry ice cream- we definitely recommend!!

We LOVE the Candy Jar! My kids are always begging to go, and I can’t say I’m much different. Their fudge selection is awesome, and there are so many different kinds of yummy treats that anyone could find something they love.

A beautiful store with tasty ice cream, fudge and treats that are locally- and Idaho-made. On top of that, the lady behind the counter was very sweet,
warm and welcoming! The huckleberry ice cream was awesome, and you have to try the chocolate covered potato candy! They also carry rocky road made with homemade marshmallows. A total YUM stop!

The shop is owned by a veteran who absolutely loves making candy. He absolutely love the community and is the nicest person I have met. He remembers you. The shop is always clean and the fudge tastes great!

This place is a gem! We stopped in today and got some candy and ice cream. I had honey comb and German chocolate and both were delicious. The owner here was very friendly and conversational. He offered us fudge samples as we walked in. I got strawberry cheesecake fudge and it was fantastic!

My husband and I have stopped in few times for candy and other things. The owner has always been very kind and attentive to any questions we have had (even questions that have nothing to do with candy). The customer service at the candy jar is exceptional and the candy is exceptional as well… We love supporting our locally businesses!

Today I had a bad experience at candy jar. The chocolate that I got was dark chocolate toffee and it was rancid. When asked to get it reimbursement the worker flat out refused. He said the chocolate was put out fresh every day. Also said there was nothing in the candy that could possibly go rancid. He was sorry but he could not refund me. This was the second bad experience I had with the same worker.
The owner great and I've talked to him and I am sure he would've tried to make it right. The icecream at candy jar is also very good. This is why I gave the store 3 stars.

Lovely house made fudges and chocolates and the cashier was so friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable too. If you stop at the potato museum don't leave without coming across the street to the Candy Jar too!

Candy Jar— Reed’s Dairy ice cream
We ordered a “small- 4 oz” (their choices are small/medium/large). Total= $2.65
> Con- truly the only one I can think of is that they don’t have many choices. They offer two tables for seating.
> Pro- Nice lobby. Both the owner & the young male employee interact with you. Wonderful customer service. They accept all forms of payment. They offer you FREE samples of their delicious homemade fudge. Definitely will be back!
**NOTE…. the young employee did scoop us a tad much. Normally it isn’t that much on top. I know this cause the owner got after him (in a kind way) for being a bit generous. The normal is a scoop, then they add “some” to the top. ?
