The best mechanic work I have ever experienced in Boise. Took the time to make sure the work was done correctly and detailed my entire engine bay for a very low cost. Even inspect my car again for free on a separate issue and replaced a part for free just to make sure my car was running smoothly.

I had an issue with my vehicle 3 days before having to drive 1500 miles across the country. I called the shop and explained my situation and they got me in very quickly. Staff was friendly, fast, and job was done at a very fair price. I will definitely be coming back to them for any issues if I return to the area.

Austin and his crew run probably the best independent garage in the Valley. Called around for a repair to several places and they not only came in as the the most affordable but also the easiest and most transparent to work with. None of the “we can’t give you a quote until we see the car” nonsense. I’ll be back with any of my repair needs.

As a dad located out of town, I really appreciated the work performed on my daughter’s car as she prepared to drive to Denver. Austin was very helpful as he described all the systems that would be examined and then provided a written document with pictures of those areas needing attention. He clearly distinguished items needing work before traveling from those items that could be handled later (ie., after the trip). I would not hesitate to recommend 27th Street Automotive for vehicle maintenance and service work.

I'm so grateful I found 27th Street Automotive! The whole crew is super helpful, knowledgeable, and transparent. I love the digital breakdown they send with color codes so I know which repairs are critical, and which ones can wait a bit. Everyone I've spoken to there is kind and respectful as well. As long as they are in business, I will be a customer, and you should too!

I have a 2013 Kia Sorento that has had to have quite a bit of work done to it unfortunately all in the course of the last month.
- Front suspension
- Battery/alternator
- Power steering
Danny picked me up and dropped me off multiple times so I didnt have to pay for Uber rides. This is exactly what you’re looking for in a mechanic shop. They are friendly family owned business that I can trust that they always have the best interest in the client.
Highly recommend 27th street automotive my experience was very good. For as long as I live in Boise I will always take my vehicle to them if it needs maintenance/work.

Very happy with our choice of 27th St. Automotive. Honest, helpful, thorough. We are from out of town, and had to bring our daughter's car in. They were honest in their assessment of the repairs needed, and whether it would be worthwhile to go forward with the repairs, due to the type and age of the vehicle. They were also supportive of whatever decision we made, and told our daughter to call anytime she needs help with her car, that they would be there to help. Very difficult to find any business today this up-front, honest, and willing to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work...no 4 1/2 hour work week here!

I took my diesel pick up to them to replace my heater core .while in there they also replaced my evaporator also. 2100.00 later I got my truck no heat or ac!they replace a 80.00 part 344.00 later.got it back no ac or heat.they said I need a new compressor.i.took it to another shop they said the compressor was OK. They said their was a hose not connected and a valve missing also the freon was low.theydidnt Seal up myair box either .it cost me 500.00 more which 27th refunded me !they charge 180.00 hr! They overcharge and do sub par service work ! Beware !
