This place is not as told or stated. It is not locally owned at all..The owner just moved to Boise in the last year.If your looking for just a paycheck then it's right for you.No employee care at all..Steve himself is either blind or really mislead..Insurance is a joke itself.. after you give up way to high a premium then your deductible is 8500.. No real benefits and a way disorganized management team.. Promises don't hold your breath a 30 day was promised and never happened..Aclu osha and labor board would have a huge Christmas bonus if they checked in here.. They actually turn the heaters off on thier working employees working in the warehouse and do not provide any relief from the heat.. Had to call them out in front of everyone to get the filters replaced on water fountains that where lit red for over a month and been told and asked to replace it.. Customers all they want is the money your stuff means nothing to them thier claims are epic amounts and no protocol to keep stuff from being damaged. So keepsakes or stuff of value is treated like a piece of cardboard thrown dropped crushed they do not care insurance will take care of it is thier moto..Don't believe the hype it's money over money..It's not a business of reputable operations.Someone should teach them take care of the employees and they will take care of the customers..

Whatever driver was going down 12th avenue in Nampa on May 3rd @906am right past Nampa high School where the McDonald's is on the left your driver didn't even attempt breaking for two kids crossing the street all other vehicles stopped and that big old truck didn't even hit the brakes.... They literally ran for their lives

I called North American/Air Van about an out of state move and was impressed that they promptly gave me an appointment for an in-home walk-through for an estimate/quote. However, after almost 2 weeks of calls and emails, I never got a quote. I called several times and was assured that they wanted the job and would get me an estimate. I never talked to the rep who did the walk-through. She never returned my emails or calls. I left messages and was told they were very busy. Very unprofessional to keep me hanging. I went with another moving company since I got a quote before they left.

Air Vans communication skills and procedures is lacking at best! Picking up motorcycle for delivery:Air Van shows up 3 hours early and unannounced on Wed the 1st of Sept. I was not home and they were unable to pick up the motorcycle. I asked if they could pick up on Friday the 3rd and the response was no...they do not pick up in my area on Fridays. We scheduled the pick up for the following Thurs the 9th. I called on Thurs morning of the 9th to get a time frame for the pickup. They do not have a pickup scheduled for me on Thurs the 9th. They tell me, they called me on the 2nd or 3rd for a pick up on Friday the 3rd...??? What...I do not have a phone record or voicemail from Air Van on the 2nd or 3rd. My phone records show last communication with Air Van on the 1st of Sept. And then, of course, on the 9th when I called them. We are now scheduled for Thurs the 16th for pickup...maybe. This has been a very frustrating experience with Air Van. I am certainly not happy with the communication and procedure skills of this company. Troy

Unable to deliver order as promised. Despite the fact that they have my order, and have for days, they can't deliver. Lack of trucks and drivers apparently. This is a very time sensitive order and asking me to wait until sometime next week for delivery is an unacceptable solution to the issue. A delivery company without the resources to do its job is a poor choice for shipping/delivery companies. Strongly suggest not using them.

This review is a LONG time coming! This is the worst moving company ever! I have used professional movers every time I have moved and this was by far the WORST experience of my life! The estimators lie by telling you that all will be ok and they don't have issues, blah blah blah. The move from Star, Idaho to the SF Bay Area was the worst experience. The guys that picked up our load from the warehouse in Boise (we were never told by the estimator, Sonya, that would happen with our stuff sitting there for a number of days until a pickup would happen to get to the Bay Area) were horrible and the coordinator witnessed how horrible they were with their attitudes as well. I specifically requested that if there was any sign of carelessness and attitude with the guys loading our items onto the truck to get another crew but they just stood by, witnessed this bullshit, did nothing and once the truck arrived at our home in California, it was hell. I was on the phone with Nicole the coordinator multiple times because our items were damaged on the truck and as they were unloading the truck. The attitude of the driver and his helpers was horrid!! After several calls with Nicole, I finally spoke with Terri the district manager. She said that she would resolve the issue and she didn't do SHIT!!! I ended up dealing with Sirva regarding the claim I filed for all the damage and got a good chunk of our money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
