Best prices and customer service. I went to a competitor and nobody knew anything about ski helmets or their gear. I went to Al’s and had experienced skiers help me and give suggestions on fit and quality. It was amazing.

Russell and his crew went above and beyond to help us to find the weight bench we were looking for. Made calls, checked the back, even helped ensure there was no damage etc. They even called us when they found one and helped us out to our car. Customer service taken to a whole new level. Thanks guys! Someone’s getting an awesome Christmas gift at a killer deal with an even better story behind it!Doest’t seem like a huge deal, but when people are kind and super helpful, it makes your whole day better!

This new sporting store has everything you can practically image. It's very clean, organized and the lighting is on point. The staff is where it goes down for me. Unlike some smaller stores the employees were rude, and did not want to really explain or help. The manager on duty was the worst one. The younger employees were the friendliest.

I talked to Daniel on the floor and he was great!! His knowledge exceeded the infinite bounds of reality and his suggestions and demonstrations were great. He even helped my Asian friend Kit out, and he effortlessly spoke perfect Mandarin to ease the language barrier!!! He is a very good employee, Al's is lucky to have him. I was so impressed with his skill set, I bought a pair of Goggles just to make him happy. Talk to Daniel!!

Lemme tell you! Ok so REI is obviously a great store. There are some things about them I can't stand..:like when they get involved in political crap. That ruins the vibe for me for any business. It's still a great store, but people need to shut up with getting involved in anything that has absolutely nothing to do with sporting goods, outdoor activities etc or whatever their business is. REI is crazy expensive tho! Ooooh! So Al's just opened. I was sad to see the trampoline park close and leave. Sports Authority was at this location at one time too. Mittens was on the board, soooo...ahhh! Never mind lol. They closed. Sad. Anyway, finally a store goes in there. Obviously we are talking about AL's.This store is fantastic. I know it's going to be pricey eventually, but when we went in, the sales they were having were amazing. They had great prices on almost everything. With Christmas coming up, too, I'm sure their sales will once again be epic. They have all kinds of top brands. North Face, Patagonia, etc. Any place that carries Patagonia is ok in my book...even if Patagonia is another company that gets too political way too often. They make great jackets tho. I've had my R3 for like 17 years and still looks new. So walking into Al's and seeing they sell Pats, made me happy. Pats in general are very expensive. So if they happen to have these on sale, don't hesitant to pick one up. Same goes for a lot of the other name brands they have here. Great store for hunters, for anyone who loves kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, I mean, it's just a great store. I'm usually iffy on these chain stores, but I think this one is mainly specific to this area of the country, PNW, and obviously Utah and ugh, I'm sure California as well..at least Northern California? Who knows. Most people I know have already been. My hunter friends are in love with this place. They have gotten some insane deals here. However, if you haven't been, you definitely need to check it out...especially now that the Christmas season is like a day away from officially beginning. No, it doesn't start the day after Halloween lol. We got a few things here when we went. One thing was a flashlight. There was a guy in that section, wish I remembered his name. His main job is he's a fireman. I remember at least that much. This guy was such a great help. Knew the products well, super friendly, perfect teeth haha, and I mean, he was fun to look at. Sorry, had to throw that last bit in haha, because shiiiieeeet! Hahaha! Super nice guy. Everyone we came across that works there was great and eager to help. I hope this place succeeds. That spot it's in is a weird one. It seems to do good elsewhere and with Boise being a huge outdoor city, I can't see this place actually failing. I can only see it flourish and I hope it does. Check it out. Thanks for reading, YelperAl's!! Cheers!

I was in search of a pair of On Clouds and I knew that Al's had a pretty good selection. A young man in the shoe department, Trenton, educated me on the different On Clouds and had me try on several different pairs before settling on just the right one. It seems that good customer service is hard to come by but Trenton went above and beyond to make sure that I got the best pair that fit my needs.

Great sporting goods store. So many options. Anthony outdoor related. You could spend hours here. Check them out. Look on the website as you can find great deals. Some aren't listed in the store like they are online.

Online buyer beware. I tried to order a pair of skis they had listed in stock after the order they were placed in "handling" for over a week I called them they said that they were no longer in stock. I tried to order another pair and all the skis on their site had greatly increased in price. I never once got an email noting that the order had to be cancelled.

First visit to Al’s and really enjoyed the clean and organized store. Friendly, informative staff with large selections of sporting goods. I enjoyed the bike dept. and was surprised how cheap the e-bikes were priced!! I bought some Huka shoes for the first time and was very happy with the sales associates in the show dept. The store just opened June 2023 so they really need community support to make it in the Boise area.

After being completely ignored by an associate at Sportsmans Warehouse I came into Al's looking for a firearm and was immediately helped by a gentleman named Ben at the gun counter. I was able to purchase thus firearm and was in and out in about 20 minutes. Ben was super helpful and had great customer service skills. Always willing to support businesses with great customer service. Give that man a raise! Thanks for the help and thanks Al's for carrying such great products. I will be back!

Had a great experience with Adam in the bike shop. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. Offered a quick tune up on the bike before we left to make sure we were good to go.

Had a great experience with the bike shop department. Parker and Hoby provided great customer service. I was shopping for a bike for my son, had good recommendations, showed me how things work, helped me stay in budget. Plus helped me load in the back of Pilot! Would definitely recommend!
