They were able to get us in same day, which was very convenient! The staff was friendly as soon as we walked through the door, the office was clean & organized & they have a HUGE selection of frames to choose from.We are very happy with the glasses & couldn’t beat the prices of their contacts, HIGHLY recommend!

Good people, affordable glasses, convenient location. I'm new to the eyeglasses game but this place makes me feel like a pro. Their selection is really good but not quite amazing. Their prices however ARE amazing. And I honestly feel like the service is really awesome, and for the times (2023-2024);its absolutely off the charts!. I've been with em for a year now and I can't see myself going anywhere else.

I came in for a diabetic eye test. I should have been asked for insurance information from the moment I checked in.Though the appointment went quickly & staff was professional I was at this location for over 2hrs.I felt like staff was pushing me into getting new glasses when I didn't find into did for new glasses.I came in for diabetic exam. Was unsure if I was given more services than requested, as I got a new prescription. Diabetic exams are covered by insurance. Had staff told me in a out of network I would not have to find through all hassle & leave crying.

Had a great experience will all staff members. Dr. Hunter is very thorough in his explanations and very friendly. 2nd time using America's Best and this location is also awesome. Prices are awesome, and I don't have insurance. Thank you! 12/10 would recommend.

Every time I've come here, my experience has been positive. This time was one of the best. The Doctor that my daughter and I saw was completely amazing! He was very personable, funny and easy to talk to... Dr. Hunter is the best eye doctor I've ever come across. The selection of glasses was a bit sad for me this time, couldn't find my perfect style. I was able to find a satisfactory pair though. I highly recommend this place!

I have the best experience here. Dr. Hunter is the best. Ken, Julie,Nikki and James are the best Staffs here. I have been living 25 States I can tell you this place is the best place in Boise to get your eyes exam. I love the Staffs and the teams here

Let me start by saying this place is so wonderful and accommodating! Ken is the best at his job and so easy to talk to, I appreciate his expertise and patience!! Julie is awesome, she goes above and beyond and very helpful! They are lucky to have these two!

I've been going to America's Best for almost three years and they've been nothing but great to me. They're a professional and fun bunch of people and they make sure I'm taken care of everytime I show up. No complaints! Five stars!

I would like to first say Dr. Stephen Hunter is one truly amazing Optometrist! His "doctor/patient" care is outstanding. Dr. Hunter's knowledge & explanation of eye-related conditions is first rate! You couldn't ask for a better Optometrist to examine your eyes. Unfortunately, the office staff overshadow his talents with an overall lack of knowledge regarding insurance verification, patient records & the rude, unprofessional treatment received from an employee named Karen. I had scheduled my appointment the day before my examination, completing the patient paperwork e-mailed to me. Once I arrived for my appointment, the front desk lady asked for my insurance card. Unfortunately, Davis Vision does not provide one for my employer. They do, however, have a 1-800 number for insurance verification, which I mentioned several times. I guess that would have been too easy. Instead, they asked for my medical insurance, I am assuming to get the group number, to verify benefits that way. Would they NOT have that information from last year's visit? Anyway, the young lady who took the picture of the back of my eye was nice enough, but was unable to answer if I had a picture taken last year. I'm not sure what kind of record keeping they do, but that is a little concerning that such a basic question could not be answered. After my amazing eye exam, I was asked to wait a desk/table until I could be helped with ordering contacts. Karen came & sat down across from me, typed a few seconds announcing across the room to the front desk lady, "do you have his insurance information still pulled up? I can't do anything without the numbers!" She got up and went over to the front desk, then came back and demanded my medical insurance card again. I asked if they couldn't just verify my benefits by calling Davis Vision, but was told "that's not how we do things." After waiting some more, she again sat down across from me and stated she needed to verify my address. She read out an incorrect street address & I corrected her. She again read out an incorrect street address, which I told her was wrong. She told me "well that's what I've got." She again read it out & I corrected her with the correct address. She raised her voice, read out the incorrect address and said "that's what I've got." As if she couldn't possibly be wrong. Why argue with the customer over his address?Just fix it. But she wanted to be difficult and unprofessional. Who am I to challenge her knowledge of my actual address, right? I then got up & went to the front desk asking to be helped by someone else as she was being a B****. Eventually a guy helped check me out. I asked to only pay for what I owed on the eye exam & for a copy of my prescription, stating I would get my contacts elsewhere. I have always a good experience with America's Best at this location. I don't know if it was new staff, weekend staff or just staff having a bad day, but after reading some of the other reviews, I can say they too have probably experienced Karen at her finest. Having office staff like Karen & the inept handling of insurance verification can detract from an otherwise excellent experience. I hope further training occurs for those responsible for verifying insurance & customer service training is offered to Karen for future customer interactions.

I'm impressed with Dr Hunter, his skill is beyond reproach. Karen was delightful. I was disappointed when picking up glasses. The staff projected unprofessionalism in their appearance and energy.

The staff at this location was amazing, especially Dr. Hunter. He was so thorough in explaining to me my astigmatism. Notably, my new glasses work even better than before! They feel so natural and less "cartoonish" when I put them on at first compared to my last pair. Thank you for educating me on the health benefits of wearing my glasses everyday instead of periodically. I really appreciate the advice and can't wait to see the results! I highly recommend this location!

I’m a little iffy about this place. Dr. Hunter and Ben were SUPER friendly and I’m so thankful I got to be seen by them, they were both very professional. My complaint is how visibly dirty the office was. I needed to get new eye glasses and was completely turned off on trying them on because they were all very obviously dirty. Finger prints and smudges all over all the glasses. It just felt gross putting them on my face. Overall I got what I needed: an eye exam at an affordable price. Their eye care program is AMAZING for those who do not have vision insurance like myself. I will definitely be doing my shopping for frames and contacts elsewhere though.

10/10 recommend!I didn’t get the two sweet ladies ant the front but i had the absolute best experience ever! Ken was amazing and very kind! He helped me find a pair of frames I’m going to purchase next time I come in! He also tried to fix my unfixable glasses! Julie was also amazing! She fixed my glasses last time I came in and they are also so sweet and informative! I will 100% be coming back for all of my eye needs! The doctor was very patient and asked me about my day and life! I LOVE this place!!!

Wow, I just picked up my glasses and on my way to the car, I dropped a pair of my new glasses In the parking lot. Unfortunately, I was too late to retrieve them from the ground before they were smashed by a car. I returned to the store where they immediately helped me out by offering me a replacement at no charge. Thank you Julie for your assistance and reassurance that America’s Best would take care of the issue. I highly recommend the Boise Towne Plaza location.
