Not completely reliable. We went into the store and showed them pictures,on my phone, of two pieces of furniture we wanted to sell. They seemed excited and said that they would set up an appointment next week to come look at the future. When I followed up with them in an attempt to set the appointment all I received was a text that said, "We will pass "I acknowledge that it is their right to pass however, I would have preferred to know this from the beginning.

Rude customer service over the phone. I had called to ask about the process and a few general questions and was scoffed at multiple times, was talked over, and wasn’t provided most answers. I immediately did not want to send my clients furniture to a store like this or continue a working relationship.

This place has deep roots in Boise and offers a wonderful series of benefits to anyone who understands that price isn't a substitute for value.Founded in the 1950's and remaining in the family since then. The current owner brings the option of buying furniture outright if you're needing to handle Estate items or you're looking to upgrade.Purchasing could never be so convenient. Remember to bring your receipt so you can pick up your merchandise. They have to protect their customers. But buying is very easy you even have a wonderful option of layaway!I can tell you, if I was looking for a couch and a comfortable recliner. I wouldn't go anywhere else there's so many different options.There is ample parking and plenty of other furniture items as well as TVs for sale. The inventory has a lot of variety but again if you want value of an incredibly reasonable price?Then I think you need work done further. It only takes a couple of minutes to see why they been around since the 1950s in the probably be around through the 2050's

Anyone who shops here is insane . This place takes used garage and prices it as much as bran new stuff or even more !!! Then they treat you like the trash they are , are super greedy and rude. The old lady manager and her workers are nasty people. With all the great thrift stores boise has , anyone would be a fool to give the bench commission any business

Horrible service!!! I went here to buy a mattress. I told the lady my bed was 5 foot. she had her worker Olive measured a mattress and the girl said it was 5 foot. I took her word for it and when I got the mattress home it was NOT 5 foot and what a hassle. ( it ended up being a full size and I needed a queen) Not only that she was so rude and bossy to the poor girl trying to work there for her ( olive) , and in the middle of our transaction she, the supposed manager" had to leave to go to the bank" and left this poor girl there to work alone. what a disaster of a day. I will Never shop there again. A Few years ago I filled my whole house with furniture from there so I thought it was a good place to go. I would have been better off buying something from marketplace as I ended up with the wrong sized $300 mattress. Total waste of $300 dollars and the whole day I wasted just trying to buy a mattress.

My wife called and Made appointment to bid on furniture with Marley. My wife waited and waited. She never showed never called. She called them asking for explanation spoke with someone possibly Michael, but didn’t get his name. He was very rude, very poor communication nothing resolved. He did say, he would contact Marley , call back and if Marley can’t he has another person in the store that will come out. My wife waited and waited, no body ever called. After days later I called and spoke with Michael the manager he was very rude and raised his voice. He made an excuse that she couldn’t make the appointment. What was confusing about this, was the fact that when my wife called, he told her, “if Marley can’t come to look at your furniture I have someone else that I can send.”But when I called,he said he didn’t have anyone else. Nevertheless, my point is, Michael as a manager, should have taken responsibility, and call the customer who took time for the appointment. This is VERYUnprofessional! Think twice before going to the Bench Commission! The service is terrible!
