For coffee shops, this place certainly designed itself to be an upscale downtown shop. While the service was top notch, I was not a huge fan of the Avocado Toast. I liked the seasoning on the Arugula, but would have liked more salt and pepper on spread avocadoes.Also, working here is a bit awkward. They designed these deep benches (over 18 inches) that you have to crawl and reach under just to plug in your laptop.Suggestion to the Owners: Make it easier for us working professionals to plug in and charge which is a common expectation for coffee shops.

Clean, crisp atmosphere, if a bit austere. Staff friendly and helpful. Avocado toast, excellent. Nice portion with lots of avocado. Latte very good with appropriate proportion of milk to coffee.

I would give more stars if they were available. Great atmosphere, great food, generous portions, and the service was superb. We emailed ahead of time to make sure how they make their white chocolate mochas, and they were kind enough to answer my silly (but important to me) question. We're definitely going back!

I must express my absolute delight with the exceptional customer service at ā Cafe, an establishment that truly goes above and beyond. Recently, a client treated me to half of a Farmers Market Burrito, and the experience left me craving another. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule overlapping with their regular hours, I opted for Grubhub, only to discover that the restaurant was mistakenly listed on the platform.Despite this hiccup, the owners displayed remarkable friendliness and a genuine willingness to accommodate my order. Upon receiving my Grubhub delivery, I eagerly opened the box, only to find the wrong item inside. Determined to savor the delectable burrito, I decided to visit their business in BODO. To my surprise, the staff at ā Cafe were incredibly helpful and understanding.In an effort to make amends for the inconvenience, they generously presented me with a $25 gift card, equivalent to my Grubhub expenditure—even though the burrito itself was priced at $13. As if that wasn't enough, they went the extra mile by offering me a complimentary coffee. This level of customer service truly exceeded my expectations, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction that is rare and commendable.I am genuinely impressed by the dedication of the ā Cafe team to ensure a positive experience for their patrons. This outstanding service has not only secured my loyalty as a customer but has also compelled me to share my positive experience with everyone I know. I eagerly anticipate my return to ā Cafe, and I am excited to spread the word about the incredible Farmers Market Burrito and the exceptional service that accompanies it.

A Cafe is the best place in Boise hands down!!High quality food and ingredients with exceptional customer service. This place is our second home and the entire staff is family. Everyone there is friendly, caring and that translates in the incredible food.

This is my favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Boise by far! The staff is so kind and welcoming! The food is so delicious and healthy! I have explored so many things on the menu that were all so amazing but have dreams about the breaky bowl. Every week I take my son there for a breaky bowl breakfast date and it’s the first place I take people when they visit from out of town!

I had the most amazing experience at this cafe! atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious especially (Brekky bowls)? I can't wait to come back again

Terrible experience... They gave me very salty food, I kindly and embarrassedly asked for a change, it took almost an hour (they served people who arrived after my request) I asked for the food to go because I had a flight and they only gave me a piece of bread with a crashed

We love a cafe! One of the best/freshest sandwich and salad spots in town. The breakfast isn’t bad either ;)Sometimes feels a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for with quality ingredients.
