I’ve worked for this company for almost 3 yrs. I found out today they’re closing our store . I was given no notice nothing. So my coworkers and I are all shocked and heart broken. Times are rough and it’s crazy how we’ve been left in the dust. My coworkers and I have all worked hard during this pandemic and staff shortage. We’ve given our all to this company. It hurts to know how much we aren’t valued.We deserve better than this . No one deserves to worry and wonder how their bills will be paid. This isn’t fair.

I was excited for my first job for a company to not know how to run their own business and overwork their employees & show no appreciation as we kept their store standing longer than expected.

Very toxic work environment. You could go above and beyond and it doesnt matter. The employees are unappreciated, underpaid , and undervalued. This job brings so much stress. No matter how much you do, it doesnt get noticed. working here I often felt defeated, as if my work didnt matter at all. The amount of stress was unreal, and totally unhealthy.

We really love the pizza, however I tried to order two large pizzas and cheesy bread. Called for over 20 minutes was told I called the wrong location and was given a number to a different location. Once again took forever to get thru and was told wrong location and was given the number to the first one I called. After trying to get thru once again for over fifteen minutes I finally gave up and ordered from somewhere else.

August 22, 2020 I ordered a large pizza for my family. The next morning, I warmed up the last piece for breakfast. Took a bite and it was kinda stretchy. So, I looked at my pizza and I found the tip of a latex glove sticking out of the dough. I immediately called the store where I purchased this pizza. The manager basically told me I was mistaken and that it wasn't a piece of glove but the plastic that the dough comes wrapped in. She offered to make me a medium pizza. I almost puked and told her I would not be back. Chicago Connection has always been our go to pizzaria. Now what? If I get Covid 19 from this, I'm suing!

Ordered from the El Dorado location. Pizza was undercooked so we called for a new one. It came to us burnt. The driver asked for the old pizza back(NEVER had that happen) and i explained i was covid 19 positive. He took the pizza with no gloves on and left. Who knows how many more deliveries he had to make after touching my old pizza. Called to let manager know. He didnt seem concerned. Way to care for your customers and employees. Wont use that location ever again

Extremely disappointing evening. I watched Brandon who claimed to be the manager argue with a patron not accepting cash for dinner and asking the patron to leave the restaurant to get smaller denomination bills to pay for his meal. I could go on and write a novel about the young ignorant entitled "Manager" that did everything wrong and did not stop to think who pays his wages. As a frequent patron, I for one will never set foot in a Chicago Connection again in protest of disgusting treatment of their customers. This exchange that then included me as I only had the same bills that the other patron had lasted 30 minutes and never once did anyone with any authority or understanding of how to treat customers came to chill the situation out. The worst evening ever, I'm reluctantly posting this because I have to give at least one star which they do not deserve.
