It is so frustrating that the CVS here in Boise Idaho is only open Mon-Fri, closed weekends, and closes for lunch. It is also very slow and often messes up the prescription orders. It is short-staffed, just like the CVS I used to used in another state. I hate using this pharmacy, but the company I work for requires me to use it. I wonder if the owners of CVS are super rich, since they seem to be so cheap with short-staffing their stores. There is never enough staff to keep up with the customer load.

Worst customer service at any pharmacy ever. I called today on a Saturday and that said they were closed even though they are supposed to be open. I need a prescription transferred to another Pharmacy since they are out of stock. After repeated phone calls I finally got through to the front store and was told they were closed because there was no one to work there. I'm going to transfer all of my prescriptions to a non CVS Pharmacy this is absolutely ridiculous and dangerous. Whatever CVS is doing as far as Pharmacy Staffing they need to get it fixed immediately this is so bad it is ridiculous

I switch to CVS pharmacy because I was being greeted by the ladies at the front of the store. This made me feel welcomed. Today was by worst experience with the pharmacy. When I arrived to pickup my medication they were closed for lunch break. There are new signs posted at the front of the store doors announcing new hours, which did not include a lunch break. When I pointed this out to the tech he was rude and said I could take it up with headquarters. My other disappoint was when my prescription was not ready he said the automated voice system did not always work. Why not fix this problem. Or do I need to take the issue up with headquarters. He was very dismissive. Very disappointed by one employee who was rude and did not give a rats a** about any thing. l

I was with CVS for 5 months and each time I picked up a prescription, I had to talk to the Pharmacist which was unnecessary. I ordered a refill and they had questions for my Doctor which again, was unnecessary. Five days later it was still pending and they said I had to call my Doctor. Do not use CVS!

Thumbs down on this pharmacy , the worst I have ever dealt with, the pharmacist is rude and unprofessional ! I will drop them from my list . The mail order side called them and approved a quantity of 10 tablets of a Med I ran out of to get me by , when I called to follow up 5 hours later , they said they didn't have time for me . Absolute didn't care what soever . Big pharma Only cares about profit . This pharmacy needs to go away !

Inconsistent, inconsiderate, and rude. Worst pharmacy in town. The pharmacist who took my call this morning flat out hung up on me. Absolutely unprofessional.

This pharmacy can be a bit frustrating. The only way to explain the last 5 prescription fills is... the tail was wagging the dog. If my doctor prescribes something, there is a very good reason. The last several, several visits I have been questioned and or denied the prescriptions I need which includes post surgical prescriptions and a need for steroids post severe illness. Why is a pharmacy gatekeeping my medicines and or hassling me? Do not go here for your prescriptions. To be fair, I understand the employees are listening to a cooperation and their regulations. Employees are more often than not friendly which has made the frustrating experiences a bit more bearable.

The worst pharmacist experience I've ever had. I am from out of state, and I was trying to explain to the lady that I had my prescription on Express Scripts. She then proceeded to talk to her coworkers about how she was getting annoyed with me in front of my face. This is completely unprofessional, and I will never be coming back here again. I have never been treated like this with any kind of service ever. I drove an hour because I was staying in Mountain home and it was a complete waste of my time.

I am new to the area and called ahead to transfer my profile from out of state. I spoke with a pharmacist and asked for pricing and availability of my medication, which he provided both, but did tell me it would take about 2 days to order, since they don't regularly stock it. My doctor sent my prescription on 12/1 and I haven't received notification of it ready for pick up, so I called. I spoke with the pharmacist Amelia #11169, who told me they aren't able to get the medication. She told me they ordered it and it just didn't come in, but I believe she lied to me. No one even called to tell me there's a problem and now don't care that they've put me up against the wall with being out of my medication. I requested Amelia's licensing number, which is required to be provided when asked for, and she refused to identify herself. This is a completely unprofessional and unethical place, which I plan to report to the state. Don't trust them.

never get a prescription from this cvs. i always have a terrible experience here and I've left crying multiple times. this morning, they were trying to blame me for having the wrong pick up date. when it was clearly written on my referral, I asked if I could come right at open the next day and the pharmacist goes, "well we're actually out of it." I have work all day so I can't go get when they, "may or may not have it ready." never go here.

The pharmacist is super nice and has always been super helpful. They communicate well and have always been clear about what's in stock, how long scripts would take to fill and when I'd be able to pick up items.I don't shop the rest of the store much but the staff seems nice as well and always ask if I need help finding things.

The pharmacy provided very poor customer service. I had a prescription transferred from a out of state cvs to the boise location I spoke directly with the employee that made the transfer at the Boise location and they said it would be ready by 3 pm today. In addition I received a text offering to have the medication delivered and I could pay the copay and it would be at my home by Monday. After getting a babysitter for my daughter and driving almost an hour to the boise cvs pharmacy location I was told upon arrival that the medication was not in stock. This really made me upset since I was lied to and wasted my time for 2 hours I'm a retired doctor and never had this happen to me before at any pharmacy. It appears to me the manager is inept at this cvs location. Or staff need to be trained better and not make false promises or lie to the customer. Service needs to improve here. I'm calling corporate on Monday to complain as well they are really inept and need to improve greatly or they will have no customers

Great customer service provided by longtime employee Paul (I hope that's his name: he has been at this location since it opened, and worked for the parent company for thirty years...) and pharmacist Amanda. Paul especially took the time to research my query, when i was having trouble and getting NO help from the grumpy checkout woman. Turned out to be a pharmacy issue, so he took me back to Amanda, who also took the time to research and find answers. What started as a fail ended in successful resolution, thanks to the patience, energy, and good attitudes of these two CVS employees. I will definitely add this store to my list of go-to's, thanks to these two.
