I’ve been going to this bank for over a year and I have to say that it has been a better experience than the last bank I had to deal with. Everyone there is super friendly and respectful. Specifically Jen however; she makes everything easy and I never have to worry if things will get done or not. She is super friendly and kind and I always look forward to seeing her when I go in. Thank you for being there.

When i did deposits for my previous employer 3 times a week at this FIB location, it was the highlight of my week. Always friendly and got to know me. Jen and Kyle were the best. Love you guys

They bought out Great Western Bank. They said the login information for online banking would be the same. That was a lie because now my password doesn't work and their reset a new password didn't work either. So, now I've been waiting on hold for over 2 hours to simply access my account. Apparently, they have enough money to buy out a bank but don't give a flying f if you can access your own money. Never go with this bank!Edit: 2.5 hours now on being on hold and listening to them "apologizing" over and over for the wait. Yet, they don't do anything about the wait or compensate me for wasting most of the day on something that's their fault. And apparently the next representative will be with me momentarily. I guess we have 2 different definitions of momentarily. Terrible customer service!

I’ve worked with Eddie for a few things and I’ve never been happier with a banker. Eddie knows his stuff and has been able to offer creative banking solutions that are saving my family hundreds of dollars a month. Everyone I’ve worked with at this location has been amazing. BTW Boise transplants: I was able to set up a new account right before I moved and transferring assets was a breeze. Thanks for the help fib!

We have been banking with First Interstate ever since they took over from the last bank. We have had such a great experience with them on all matters we have needed help on and the customer service at our branch is great. They carried us through our PPP without any hiccups and anytime I had a question, they were there to help. Eddie is who take care of us normally and I couldn't be happier with him. Thank you to the team at First Interstate for all you do!

One star means bad but if there was a rating for incompetent and horrible. I was happy with my prior bank but when this one bought it, I have had nothing but problems with this bank. They changed the type of account that I have and the fees are insane. The phone app isn't good. The only way I can cash checks is by drive thru and the customer service in this branch is terrible. I would avoid this bank at all cost.

Terrible experience. I have to disclose first that I did not choose them as a bank, they were imposed to me. They bought my beloved Idaho Independent Bank, where I banked for years and years. I did not like them since the beginning, but I wanted to give them a try , They are very impersonal and "full of services fees". I decided to only keep my small business account and a small savings account with them. I was being charged service fees and I was going to close my account back in January of this year. I regret now not doing it then. I was being good on having the necessary to cover the basic charges in this account. 2 days ago I received a letter saying that my account was overdrawn for $1.99 . I paid them a visit and it ends up that I was owing now $85 plus because also their service charge fee $10 came through and it gave me multiple overdrawn fees. I asked them to reverse them and to close my account. The teller pass me with a TJ Moore, from the get go he refused to help stating that it was the agreement for overdraft fees and I owed that money because of the agreement I signed. He had a pretentious manner with an overall mockery of consideration for the situation. I have worked on banking in the past and I know he could have done something to help me, besides my account has never been delinquent he could have done something but he refused and I got very upset. I even told him that I was going to pay one overdraft fee, he denied to help stating that it was not the agreement and that I had to pay. Again the account was overdrawn $85 because of a $1.99 and a$10 service charge fee that they charge. I was ready to pay that and at least pay one overdraft fee but they wanted it "all". Well guess what? I paid the money they "stole" from me in fees over $85 and I closed my accounts. I hope that money serves them well, as I told him that money will come back to me but his dignity won't. "Have a wonderful rest of your day" he said as he was mocking me sending the check I was giving to him to pay what he was claiming. Most horrible banking experience ever! Who do you bank with for business banking? I was banking with Idaho Independent Bank but they got bought out by First Interstate Bank and I can’t stand the new bank. If you like your bank would you tell me who you use- are there associated fees (if so, how much?) and why do you like them?There must be something you are doing wrong and I think it is your poor customer service and bad attitude and lack of TLC for your customers.
