This is not about a specific store. I went in yesterday to make a purchase. They have changed their military discount policy. No longer do you simply give your phone number after previously showing your ID. You must now sign up on the app and prove your status. I uploaded my mil ID and it says additional doc required. What else besides your ID? They are simply trying to make it more difficult to get the discount…very disappointed!

I made an online purchase. Received a delivery time the day before stating a 4 hour window and would be contacted a half hour before delivery arrives. 2.5 hours post window time, no contact or explanation from delivery driver. I should have picked it up myself.

Sorry Home Depot. You just lost my business on an $2800 appliance purchase. You don't allow pets in your store.....,,although you have in the past and many other Home Depot's do. I went to Lowes where my dog is not only invited but the associates there provide treats. I'm not saying your policy is wrong......what I'm saying is that you lost a $2800 sale today because my dog was with me and I couldn't enter your store to make a purchase. Just a thought....you might want to rethink your policies.

Absolutely horrible experience! In August I purchased a washer and dryer set with a stacking kit and was told that it was on back order and wouldn't be delivered until around September 15. I was also told that I would receive a phone call the day before with an estimated delivery time. By late in the evening the day before, the estimated delivery date, I still had not received a phone call. Upon contacting Home Depot, I was placed on hold while they had to look up my order to tell me that it was placed on back order for another month. It felt like they had forgotten about it and were not going to tell me unless I called about it. After a conversation with the store and a new order, I was given a new delivery date of October 22. When the delivery arrived at my residence on that date, I was informed that the washer had been damaged in the shipment/warehouse and that in order for them to stack them as I had requested, they could not give me neither the washer nor dryer. The agents then loaded the equipment back on their trucks leaving me once again without my washer and dryer. The agents were very apologetic and documented what was missing and assured me that as soon as the issue was fixed they would be in contact with me. Later, I was given a new delivery date of November 20. When that day arrived, the delivery agent informed me that he only had the washer and that it was a drop off only. He was, however, nice enough to attach the hoses and ensure that it worked before he left, but I was still without the dryer I had ordered. I called Home Depot and informed them of the mix up and was told that I would receive a call by the beginning of the week from the delivery company to schedule another delivery date. After not hearing from them for a couple of days. I made at least two phone calls to Home Depot for follow up, each time being told that they were waiting to hear from the supervisor of the delivery company. Finally at the beginning of December, (about 2 weeks later), I received an automated call from the delivery company stating that the delivery would take place on December 29. At this point, I decided that since I had already been waiting three months for the set, I would return the dryer and purchase it separately at another vendor. First I would like to say that while I understand order backlogs due to COVID, what is unacceptable is the fact that the delivery company showed up twice to my residence with incorrect information/missing pieces/incorrect orders despite it being documented quite clearly in the initial and follow up paperwork and receipts. I do appreciate the honesty of the delivery agents and their willingness to go out of their way to make the customer happy. Despite, that, I find the communication between Home Depot and the delivery agent to be lacking. I also find the communication of both Home Depot and the delivery agent with me, the customer, to also be completely unacceptable. The customer should not have to constantly call for followups because of not having been kept informed of the progress of a delivery especially over a period so long in duration. Four months is a RIDICULOUS amount of time to wait for a washer and dryer that could have been correctly delivered in one month. I will be hard pressed to ever order another appliance from this Home Depot with option for delivery.

All employees I worked with lack the knowledge to do basic tasks of their job. Not the specific employees fault. They haven't been trained. Every time I go to the Nampa location, they scan my pro extra ID. Both employees at the Boise location didn't know what I was talking about and said they didn't know how to enter or scan the ID. I was unable to use my business account for the purchase.

Do not use them for flooring absolutely horrible scheduling. We moved all the furniture out of the rooms and they didn't even call to say they weren't coming. waited from 7am until 4 pm. Now it will be another three days and did they offer to move beds back into the rooms. NO. We are older and had help with the furniture. Now we have furniture everywhere with pathways that make it hard to get around.

I have to give some huge kudos to the folks who work in this store especially in the paint Dept. We are having to get our house ready to go on the market on 8/5. I needed interior paint (25 gallons). The store in Nampa only had 7 gallons of what I needed so I called these folks and they took GREAT care of me. They were kind enough to pull the base color and have everything ready to go when I got there so all that needed to be done was to mix and pay. Tom and Theresa especially were awesome. Even when 3 out of the 5 refused to open they kept going until they managed to get it done. I would also like to say "Thank you" to Joe for loading my car.

Quality of lumber for what they charge is completely out of line. Service is also lacking considering that they prices have sky rocketed to over 300%! Home Depot builds multi billion dollar stadium, gets Involved in elections politics but yet it is the contractors who I truly feel bad for. I used to go to Home Depot 3 -5 times a week but now once in 2 weeks. Boise deserves better community store.

I hadn't been in The Home Depot for a while and walked most of the store. It seemed a little more cluttered than usual. There was product in the aisle and in some cases hard to get around. I ended up not finding what I was looking for and ended up leaving. The one positive I can say is everyone is super friendly and most people were wearing masks.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Ordered a product that was supposed to be in stock. Paid for it and went to go pick it up but the product wasn't there no one new where the order was. They kept telling me to come back on a certain date and still nothing. No body knows where it's at or how to help. Incompetent staff and management. Would leave zero stars if I could.

I am completely disappointed in the whole process of purchasing and having windows installed by Home Depot. I ordered 12 new windows last fall. Not a cheap purchase by any means. I was first told they would be in after Thanksgiving. That date was moved to sometime in January 2021 due to COVID-19. Which anyone can understand as manufacturing is backed up. The real issue started in January when after putting in all 12 windows they realized they put the Wrong widows in. Plus they destroyed my brand new paint job around most of the windows and did damage to the inside and outside of the home. It was a fight to get Home Deposit to agree to the repairs. Which as of today still are not done. This week, April 7th, they finally came back with 12 new widows. Which 4 are broken so again it will be months before those windows can be replaced. No one from Home Depot called me after the install on Wednesday to talk to me about the 4 broken window or what they are going to do about them or the repairs. From the Manufacture of the windows down to the contractors putting them in it has been a horrible. I have had multiple windows replaced on my prior home and never had issues like we are having now. Buy local and hire local only from now on.

I came in last Friday night, New Years. Here's the back story: I have two businesses. One of them is houskeeping. I've had a lot of cancellations and someone asked me to work that day so I did, even though it was a holiday. It was a long week and that was a really long day of physical labor without a break, a deep houseclean, while family of five was out of town. I was up on a ladder part of the time and down on the floor, the rest, often on my knees. During the course of cleaning, I broke a bulb in the client's oven so after finishing the job, drove to Home Depot to get one. First of all you guys were open until 8, which gave me time to get there...a twenty minute drive. Then I had to drive back. I was EXHAUSTED when I walked into the store. I headed straight toward an associate coming my way. I asked him where the appliance bulbs were. Not only did he tell me where, he walked me over and made sure I got the exact kind I had broken. It was hard to read because the bulb was pretty messed up. I'm a senior and didn't have reading glasses on me, so that meant a lot. We found the exact bulb. Then I walked straight across to the service counter where the associate kindly checked me out. I didn't get the cashier's name but the person who helped me find the bulb was Kyle G. Super nice and professional Home Depot associates, both of them. Kudos to the management in there!!!

My son loves going to Home Depot. During these coronavirus times, I'm really appreciating the take-home children's workshop kits, so thank you for giving us something to do at home together. We've made a battleship, elf ornament, safe & cookie tray as of late.
