Taxes took even longer than ever before to receive not due to H&R , but other matters. Was told by employee I would receive interest from IRS due to the length of time it was taking, false. Was told a certain amount would come out of my taxes to pay for service and it seems that a bit more than I expected came out. Never had issues with H&R in the past, personally I'll rethink it next year. The price is terrible.

If you have taxes that are even slightly more complex than a simple W-2, I would not recommend H&R block. They did not do a good job of explaining what they were doing, or answering my questions about deductions and tax-smart strategies, and charge a high rate for bad service. Their customer service is subpar. All in all bad experience.
