What in the world does it take for Horizon to send paperwork to the DMV or even do a simple address change???? Over the years and several vehicles, I feel like I have to harass everyone at Horizon daily and I get zero confirmations on if it was completed. I have even went straight from the DMV to Horizon with all the paperwork needed as well as mention I have issues with these things getting completed properly, yet Horizon ALWAYS messes things up to the point I expect it now. I am more than highly frustrated with Horizon. Nothing but issues with submitting simple paperwork over the years with multiple vehicles. I'll be switching credit unions permanently.

Opened an account online. I received notification that the account was approved but they didn't give me information to log in to the platform. After a. Both I still had not received atm cards or a letter with confirmation. When I reached out to close the account since my money was stuck and I could get access, they offered to mail me the balance of my account to whatever address I gave. They didn't confirm my identity. I have big concerns about the security of the money in the accounts. They also wouldn't refund the $20 account setup fee. I guess that was $20 spent to know to never use them for my money.

ATM was compromised- thank goodness for fraud alerts from my credit union. Called horizon and told them what happened ($800.00) taken using me card and they said they were aware of it but the it "wasn't their fault" because the didn't know someone had put a tracker on their ATM.

Had an account with approximately $250 balance that was inactive. They started charging $5 per month, but sent statements only every 2 months. So I went in to get the fee reversed and the manager chose to not reverse it unless I got a CD. She didn’t bother talking to my face, just loudly to the associate from her office which I could overhear. Nope. Poor form. If I’m not worth $10 that cost them nothing, then they don’t value their clients. This will likely cost them more than the $10 they could have returned since I’m sharing this.

Fraud!!!! Will not return our calls. Have proof of all my payments and took my car and we cannot get a hold of anyone!! Beware!

I had an issue with an account. I was told as long as I made payments to the account I would not go to collections by the assistant branch manager while in with another member of the branch staff who validated the conversation. Yet they sent me to collections and stated they no longer wanted to do business with me and then sent me an ugly piece of mail. The only thing I did wrong was follow the managements instructions and even though they knew what happened and I was told they would call me after talking to everyone involved, they didn’t care enough to follow up with me. They made a mistake. They should own it instead of letting the Customer take the fall for their bad training/information. Thanks Brandon and Loretta for throwing me under the bus instead of standing up for me.

Quite honestly, all of the 1 star reviews surprise me. I've been a member of this credit union since around 2016 when it was Icon Credit Union and Horizon acquired Icon about a year ago. This credit union is the perfect size... big enough to where you can get things done and helped, but small enough to where the tellers, officers, and location manager all remember your name. I have needed to go there more than normal over the last month and JJ (the location manager) has been incredibly helpful. All of the tellers are very kind and the loan officer who has helped me in the past (Brandon) is very helpful as well. I've had no problem being a member of this credit union and do not plan on leaving. Am excited to see how Horizon continues to grow over time.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I have been with this credit union since they started, over 50 years! Now I am going to take my money out and never go back. The worst customer service i've ever seen. From not being able to get a no brainer loan (Zions got it done in 2 weeks) after over 2 years of work with Horizon. to not being able to get money out of my account at the "drive thru" even though I had tons of ID and plenty of money in my account! The workers are embarrassed by the job they are doing but won't change. They don't look up when you go in let alone smile! I was with my daughter the other day and we were talking about Horizon and the lady behind the counter exclaimed " They are the worst "! Do yourself a favor and don't get any kind of account there!

worst place to ever finance a vehicle, no one can answer when your loan is due and every time we give them the insurance info, some idiot keeps saying we never got it. I will refinance my loan with someone who knows what they are doing. Everyone that works there has no clue how to work the website or even clarify insurance information on a vehicle or even send out an invoice

I've been with ICON Credit Union many, many years now Horizon. I've found nothing but professionalism, quick service, friendly staff, and people that take your best interest at heart.

Tried going online. Doesnt work Tried going to a branch in person. Doesnt work Tried calling. Sat on hold for over an hour before I gave up. Tried calling the number from the email they sent over when I was behind on the payment because I couldnt figure out how to pay them. On hold for another hour. Finally paid as a guest (had to drive to the local branch to get my account info because it was never given to me origionally) and they charge 8.00... They sure make it hard to be a customer. I will be pulling my auto loan and using a different bank as soon as humanly possible...

So disappointed in this Credit union since the Icon merger. Records of past ICON transactions prior to the merger are now inaccessible to the customers without long sessions with support group. They also pay virtually no interest. I don't recommend this credit union at all.
