Unfortunately, you must actually walk down and make sure they confirm 3 times that your membership is canceled. I paused membership for 3 months while deciding if I was going to move or not. After the 3 months I called in and talked to a gentlemen and canceled due to me moving. I have been a great customer there for years, always paid my fees and had 2 other people on my account, sometimes even more! I really pushed people to go there as well, developed a great relationship with the workers just to find out that a year, and some change, later that they have continued to charge me almost 75 bucks a month, after I canceled, is very sad. If I hadnt canceled my card, it would have continued. Then when I try to contact someone to fix the issue, I know a refund for it all is crazy but somthing can happen, not only do they just ignore what Im saying all together (the first manager I emailed) but once you get the bosses info, they just completely ignore you and charge you another 50 bucks!? Another 50 bucks for what!? For canceling!? *** called the manager 4 times, left 2 voicemails, and Ive emailed 3 times now. Not a single response, only a bigger bill now. Really disappointed to see how this local company started treating people that have been there since the first location.

3 (update FOUR!!)of their treadmills have been broken for months, getting tired of having to wait around for someone to finish with one. Go somewhere that they actually care about their equipmentEdit: It’s been 10 days since the day they said they were getting new ones. The ones that were broken in September are still broken, they just moved them around. Lol

Super clean spot!!!! I workout mid afternoon and never have a hard time finding a machine or a bench which is great! Everyone seems super nice, I mean gym etiquette being what it is it's a very quiet gym but the people when you do talk have all been really nice. Membership fees are fair , and Super Clean!!! Staff is very polite as well.

I just walked into the State street location and I asked the gentleman who helped me, the prices for membership. He was not kind, like why would I ask that question. He gave me a sour look. I asked if I could look around and he said, sure if you want. He didn't even offer me a tour of the facility. I looked around and left. Was not a good feeling.

Fired all of their instructors by text a few days before Christmas. Heartless.

I’ve been enjoying working out here. They’ve really been proactive about keeping the place clean during the covid pandemic and have made rags and cleaner readily available to that patrons can do their part. Lots of hand sanitizer. I like that it’s open 24/7. If it had rubber plates and deadlift platforms I would give it five stars.

I really enjoy working out here on a regular basis. Living in the North End really makes this a convenient place to lift. It's never too busy (except at 5) and the staff is always super friendly.

Been a member on and off for about 3 years. Just switched to this location now that I work downtown. Not bad! As always, nice and patient staff and clean bathrooms. Older machines than the Fairview location which I was just getting used to (after I struggled to get used to them lol). So I don’t mind the older machines here!

Came here for the group fitness! I love the U-Jam class! Hope they get more! I love that I can bring friends with the drop in fee. It’s been really clean and a great facility.

I would give negative stars if I could, this establishment is very unprofessional. I had called back in November to cancel my membership; the individual working said they'd cancel it for me. Well, I look at my bank statements and low and behold, my membership hadn't been canceled, and my account was charged $110 for my membership I was told was canceled months ago. I called today, spoke to an associate named Tiffany and she said I needed to fill out the cancelation form through my email, I submitted the form. But, as I told Tiffany, I never received this form back in November when I initially had called to cancel. They refused to refund my account even though this was a reckless mistake made by one of their associates. Highly unprofessional, I needed that money to pay my power bill.

I go here 5 to 6 times a week, and while the gym itself is well structured and contains all the necessary equipment, I find myself disappointed in it's Covid policies and actions. They don't require their staff to wear masks, which i find irresponsible, and have no mask policy in place for the patrons. I understand that it can be difficult to force patrons to wear masks, it should be their responsibility to require their staff to wear masks.

I've been going to this gym for a few months, and it's great especially for 15$ a month, but this place desperately needs bumper plates and a deadlift platform. There is more than enough space in the big exercise room for these.

This is such a wonderful gym. Always clean and great variety of equipment. I love Coach Liz and I want to give her a shoutout for adapting classes to be safe and comfortable for members but still getting a sweaty calorie burning workout. She goes above and beyond as does Carly to make this location my favorite!!!
