Great gym. I came here for a day pass while I was visiting Boise - super easy, other gyms denied me when I asked for a day pass. Clean in there, we'll maintained, and even smells good (what a concept!) Emphasis is definitely on body weight exercises and free weights with plenty of dumbbells, barbells, kettle bells, bumper plates, sleds, cables, squat racks, and olympic platforms. Few weight machines (which I dont use anyway). Lots of cardio machines though. Some unique equipment Ive never seen anywhere else, though to be fair I'm a member of an inexpensive gym back home. It wasn't very busy when I came (Friday during the day) but not sure how busy it gets at peak times such as 5-7pm. This seems like a gym for real strength and endurance trainers, people actually dedicated to the exercise lifestyle. I'd recommend it to locals who fit that profile!

My husband Darin and I LOVE to come to this gym when we are in Boise visiting family. It’s modern, up to date, clean and very professionally run. Great atmosphere!!!

A very nice and clean gym. Staff were very welcoming and gave me a tour around the facilities. Will definitely consider coming back after I finish recovering from my Achilles injury.

If you are looking for a gym with machines that do the work for you, this is not it. Lots of quality, clean equipment. Well organized! A great facility if you want to get creative with your fitness plan. If you are new to working out, this is a gym that you should use a trainer with.

I had a terrifying encounter with one of their vehicles that came inches from colliding with my car and I had to slam on my brakes to avoid a collision. The older lady driving the gym's vehicle seemed completely oblivious to basic road safety, making a reckless lane change without checking her surroundings. It's astonishing that a place promoting health and well-being could display such negligence and disregard for others' safety. Beware!

Jack City Fitness was a phenomenal gym. Clean, lots of great equipment, and my trainer David was knowledgeable, encouraging, and had a great workout prepared for us. And that ice plunge…WOO!

Gym was a great space. Had some really cool equipment. Has an ice bath too which many gyms don’t have. Would definitely consider this to be one of the best gyms in the area.

In town for just a few days and Jack City Fitness was easily the best part of the trip. The staff was friendly and the equipment was clean and great. The only downside is that this gym is nicer than the gym in my home town and I can’t work out here all the time.

They were very prompt about fixing a billing issue I had. Other than that, I've really been enjoying the gym! The facilities are very nice and clean, and it's usually not too busy.

I have been exercising 40 years in facilities like this and managed 2 sports complexes years ago. I was completely impressed with this facilty’s 1. Staff -the staff has helpful professional and knew the business 2. Equipment - they have every single component that you could think of under 1 roof and 3. The facility is ultra clean and well organized. I highly recommend this fitness facility to everyone. JCF thanks for the visit will see you again next time I am in town. Thank you.

10/10 gym no questions asked. The state of the art equipment and the recovery equipment like the ice bath are like no other gym in the area. Absolutely worth every dime.

I’m a frequent visitor to Boise and have tried a lot of the gyms in town on a day-/week-pass basis. My workouts are mostly barbell-based with some dumbbells mixed in and this gym has (by far) the most extensive amount of free weights I’ve found. They have twelve (!!!) half racks for barbell work and their dumbbells are in 2.5lb increments all the way up to 50lbs instead of the normal 5lb increment. There are cable stations and a ton of equipment for the functional fitness crowd that you don’t see in most gyms. I will say that if you’re looking for dozens of cardio machines and cable machines for every isolation, this isn’t going to fit your needs (and that’s ok). I would definitely have an ongoing membership if I was a local, but wish there was a more flexible option for single-use passes… either an affordable day pass or the ability to buy day-pass packs. They do have a reasonable weekly pass that I’ll be using in the future when the timing works out. Overall highly recommend.

This has got to be the best gym I've ever worked out in. A weightlifters dream with all the great equipment, new and well maintained. Gym is not crowded, each time I was there , there might have only been 2-3 other people max. Service is friendly and accommodating. We got a weekend pass as out of state visitors. Pro tip: register on a weekday, since weekends may not have a front desk person to assist Recommendations : 1) test out your access after registration. Make sure to test with door locked to avoid possible subsequent issues 2) bathroom stall was out of toilet paper, so hopefully some more can be stocked up. Overall, would definitely return to visit the facility if I'm back in the area. Keep up the great work.
