Horrible experience compared to other locations. I would say use the gas and drive across town to deal with a much better staff thatâs for sure.!
I got stuck there after closing because of their mistakes.

I had my nails done at the Boise location and Georgia was amazing. So friendly efficient very open to my ideas. She worked really hard. I think I found my new nail girl

I purchased several clothing items a few months ago and hung them in my closet as they were for the winter season. I did not think I needed to check the items for holes. When I went to put on a shirt, there was a large hole on the seam of one shirt. I no longer have the receipt as the purchase was a few months ago. I tried to return the shirt today and exchange it for a "holeless" shirt. The tags are still on it. The customer service person told me since there is no receipt, I could not make the exchange. I asked what I should do then. She said "throw it away I guess". I have been a long standing customer of JCP (25 years) but after today's treatment, I will never return.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my family and I had at your store 300 N Milwaukee St, Boise, ID 83704 Unfortunately, the level of customer service we received was far from welcoming, and I left the store feeling frustrated and unheard. The issue arose when I attempted to take advantage of a Buy One, Get One 50% Off sale. The signage in the store made no mention of any restrictions regarding brands or mixing and matching, yet when I proceeded to check out, I was told that the discount only applied if both items were from the same brand. This was not clearly communicated anywhere, and the store itself was advertised as being 50% off. When I tried to clarify the promotion, the employee was not only unhelpful but also rude and dismissive. Instead of providing a clear explanation or offering assistance, they raised their voice at me, making me feel belittled and embarrassed in front of other customers. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it does not align with the level of service I expect from a well-known retailer like JCPenney. I believe that if there are restrictions on promotions, they should be clearly posted to avoid confusion and ensure transparency. Additionally, employees should be properly trained to handle customer concerns professionally and respectfully. No customer should feel as though they are being misled or mistreated when shopping. I would appreciate a response regarding this matter, as well as clarification on your sales policies moving forward. I hope that my feedback will encourage better training and clearer promotional signage to prevent similar experiences for other customers. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

Went in with a voucher and the manager Brandi did not listen to me on how to handle the paperwork and did it incorrectly. I did not get to sign either paper or get a copy of the receipt, which I need to mail in or simply send a emailed photo of both which she also didnât let me do. I wasnât going to argue with her on how to do her job so i let her be ârightâ when she was wrong but it upset me how she disregarded my instructions I got from the Department of Labor on how to use the voucher. to clarify theres a copy the store keeps and a copy for the Department of Labor and neither of them were properly used because of her negligence and unwillingness to listen to me.

After your Christmas returns. JC Penny's did not honor my receipt and said that it had been too long purchased for Christmas. Just another reason not to shop there! Very disappointing. I put back everything I was going to buy and did not buy it. I think it's ridiculous they didn't even offer a store credit with a receipt.

Horrible! I thought my husband 2 gifts from there to be delivered. They delivered them with no packaging so you could see what it was.,ruined those surprises. Took them to return at the mall. They charged me 12.99 each to return and ship back. They didnât why I was returning them nothing. I will never shop online again.

J C Pennys is a staple of large malls like this one. It is the last of the big box retail stores that have gone to being in the malls and have less free standing bro t and mortar stores. They have good prices and just about everything you could want.

I have never felt so disrespected as I did today. We tried to return an expensive piece of jewelry. We were told it could be âbought backâ anytime as it never lost its value. We were told today by an employee we were never told that and they havenât done this in years. This jewelry was purchased as couple months ago. My elderly mother was told by staff to âstop talkingâ and were not allowed to speak. I spoke to a manager who didnât even ask anything about the complaints to the employee. We were humiliated and made to feel like criminals. I grew up going to the JCPenneyâs at the Boise Town Square mall. My father was manager at JCP for 31 years. He helped open this store.My parents have shopped at JCP for at least 45 years, until today. We will never go back. My heart hurts for how awful people are treated, especially how we were treated today by JCP staff.
