I placed three orders in two days at two different Joann’s locations in Boise for pickup. ALL THREE were canceled because their website isn’t up to date with what product is in store! What is the point in offering online ordering for in-store pickup if your IT team can’t figure out how to make the website work… no wonder they’re going out of business all over the US!

Store is extremely messy/disorganized. Floors don't seem to be cleaned for months and gets worse every time I go in which is fairly often.
They rarely have any crochet supplies (besides yarn) in stock. They leave carts/boxes in walkways and isles which is a safety hazard. Waited in line for 25 minutes with 4 people ahead of me. I understand that they are short staffed, but solve the problem and hire people to help. Cashier didn't call for backup until I was already checking out and she was very slow. I'm very understanding and patient but this was very poor customer service.

Nothing like a trip to Joanns to ruin your day. Literally every experience with this store is horrible. The most poorly run store I've ever delt with. Wait in line for 30 minutes(there's not that many people here, the employees are just completely slow)to get your fabric cut by a girl that can't measure correctly, only to wait in line to check out. Zero stars

This used to be a good store. The app no longer even works, and a couple days ago I placed an order for 26 items to be picked up. Every single one of the showed in stock. The next morning, they cancelled all but 2. No wonder this company is in such financial trouble. It's been getting worse and worse and worse, and the stores are understaffed so the lines can be really long, so that's why I had switched to online with pickup when I couldn't find what I needed elsewhere. The website ordering system is clunky, slow, and flawed, so it takes a long time to even place an order, and then to have 90% of it cancelled the very next day is just ridiculous.

There was a 40% off sign for some jewelry pieces. When I attempted to purchase them the young, dark haired cashier refused to honor the discount. She was also difficult over the holidays 2024.. so there is overcharging for things that were advertised at a lower price and rude and slow cashiers. I know that it is hard to find Qualified applicants for jobs but this is ridiculous.

I've shopped this store for several years. When I went in today I was saddened to see the state of the store. I understand it's the holidays but the place looked like it hadn't been properly stocked or cleaned in months. I saw a total of 3 employees doing their best to keep things going and a fair amount a patience being shown by patrons but I was very disappointed in the lack of cleanliness and organization.

Don’t go here.
Unless you do well in dirt and clutter, half things on the edible aisles are expired. The employees, I only saw 2 and they were rude and short. The store is more dirty than my car when I was homeless. Do better Joann’s.

The store on Milwaukee in Boise is awful. Everything is in disarray. You cannot find anything. The aisles are blocked. Not enough help.

My 82 year old dad went to this store on Oct. 12th to buy picture frames. He couldn’t find them so looked for help and no one was around. Then he went to a cashier and asked if he could get some help, and she simply say “no.” He left the store. I’m extremely disappointed in this service. Do better.

Haven't been to this one in Years it'll probably be that long before I go back it was really messy in there. Didn't have the yarn I wanted so went to a different Jo-Ann Fabrics that carries we.

I really want to like this store but every time I go in, it is dirty and disorganized. There is so much potential there, but I usually end up leaving without purchasing anything because I can't find what I need, am distracted by dirt on the floor and the staff are not friendly or attentive.

Where do I start….. first things first. Okay I had a idea to buy two crates to stack on top of bookcase to add more shelf space so I went to joeannes since online it said they had crates that were $10 When I got there to the store I saw crates they were $10 even the white ones, heck one white crate literally had a $10 for crates sign stuck on it as it sat on top of crate display so what did I do? I grabbed two white crates & waited in line that took forever as there was two cashiers who were scanning items as if they were human sloths (I watched how slow their hands were moving, trust me im not joking) When I finally got there after waiting ten minutes (There weren’t THAT many ppl btw like 7) the cashier then preceded to go as slow as a snail while acting like this was the first time she ever did her job or saw a register in her life. She then preceded to struggle scanning ONE BOX OML for another ten minutes before calling for backup FINALLY. The backup took another five minutes(OF COURSE) and then she just made the crates $14 and looked at me like she did me a fabulous favor.(I swear im usually very understanding & patient but when you wait that long anyone would be upset plus I was also on a time crunch so that made it worse also she literally over charged me) I was super confused and asked her to repeat herself as I legit thought she had to be joking. She reiterated the $14 and I was left vowing to never come back again. Like if it legit says $10 crates on a white crate thats on a display with non white crates & white crates there too it should be $10 period, money adds up quickly so I lost $8 basically. Worst customer service I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing and also,moving on from the crates, everything in that store is overpriced down to the smallest things. It’s a wonder they’re in business still as its so expensive. (It cant be legal like come on) and dont get me started on planner section holy cow thats just robbery… just picture the most average plain stickers that only come with 4-6 stickers (1 sheet) being $8 and up… I recommend never going there unless you wanna throw away money and your time and waste your life. Dont think it even deserves 1 star.
