New owners doubled the prices on existing tenants.Yet, the office is empty now, the porta-potty was removed, and zero renovations or improvement were made, except for a cheaply printed sign begging for 5 stars on Google. Well, you asked for a review, here you go! :D

Originally a great price. Over the last few years tho the prices have increased so much that it isn't worth paying any longer. I have had to call multiple months because I have received a fee for my auto pay not going thru. Karen, who was originally on-site said it was a system error and took the first fee off. Many months and fees later I called again and voiced my frustration. I was asked by the rep what I wanted to pay for my unit as she understands the frustration of several price increases as well as a consistent issue with their payment processing system. I explained that while I understand changes in the economy and the need for the occasional small increase I would prefer to pay closer to what I did in the beginning. Especially given the issue with their processing sysrem for payments and the multiple fees I have had to pay. She said sounds fair and told me she would submit the request ro the owners and it should be processed in 2 to 3 days.. today, 2 weeks after this conversation I called to check the status and absolutely nothing... I was told to wait another week. This puts me at the end of the month and without proper time to move my items out should they not honor the rate decrease. I dont think it's very fair to offer a decrease then leave someone guessing if it will go into effect in a timely manner.
The last issue is with the unit I have. Over the course of the few years I have rented there have been multiple concerns with the safety of the unit. I have on several occasions arrived to find my lock had been tampered with and while no access from gained it is alarming that security isn't good enough to prevent criminals from trying. Some places have excellent security and cost around the same or less than I am paying. Last again concerning the unit. I have a fairly large unit and I have a standard sized door. NOT a roll up style garage door a standard door. This makes it difficult to get items that are larger in and out. When i inquired about the option to change i was told I am paying the same amount now that the units with the better doors cost. What a slap in my face.
Very much a line my own pockets mentality by the owners to not take the issues the long standing customers have and work to solve them. While you can't make everyone happy you could at the very least try and not just say too bad.
If getting into a low security unstable priced unit is your thing this place is for you.

Ran remotely and locked my grandmother out for not having an email address. Trying to call the number on the door we were blocked by an automated system. Could NOT GET A HOLD OF A FLIPPIN HUMAN.

I chose this facility in a time crunch. I went twice during business hours and no one was in the office. My unit is paid for but the access code sent to me is invalid. I have spent an hour trying all systems to get an actual person to respond. I have left messages two days in a row with no call back. The only help I can get is a bot sending me a code that does not work. I have a truck full of belonging and no way to access a unit that is paid for.

This place will raise your rent within a month of having your unit. They will have a special for a larger unit, cheaper than the smaller units then they will raise the rent after a month. They charge $15 for not setting up autopay.

I couldn't be happier with Storelocal. The lady at the front desk was awesome! The prices are very fair and their unit are in good shape. I would recommend them over anyone else for storage!

I have rented a unit at this facility for a very long time. It was originally Affordable Storage, and it was actually affordable. Then it became Keylock and storage prices were doubled. Then it became Storelocal. Storelocal decided to cut corners and got rid of nightly patrols so over the Christmas break my unit was burglarized. They will not share the video without a subpoena yet I have been told they saw nothing on the video but somehow a whole lot of my stuff is magically gone. They have since reinstated the nightly patrols and are now looking in to better camera systems which tells me their current camera system is not good, and this does me no good now because my stuff is still gone. I was originally told that I would be contacted in a few days and the police would get the video footage. I heard nothing for over two weeks. I had to contact the district manager myself before she finally reached out to me only to be told that a subpoena was required for the footage but they saw nothing on the footage. Yet I was told by the front office that there was all sorts of suspicious behavior with fence hopping and lock cutting over a several week period. They are more concerned that I put a second lock on the unit that was burglarized than actually helping solve the burglary. This all happened right after they raised the rates yet again. On top of this they barely plowed the facility and I had to dig out a ton of snow and ice just to access my unit. They do not care about their customers. I can no longer in good conscience recommend anyone store anything they value at this location.

This is for the Maple Grove in Boise location.
Plow the lot!!!! It's been a week since we got the big snow storm and it's still full of snow and deep ruts and slush and now water puddling up. It is difficult driving through there. I have seen several people get stuck also. I had to find a shovel to shovel out in front of my door tonight, from snow falling off the roof and blocking all the doors that swing out. My shoes are absolutely soaked from having no choice but to walk back and forth on the snow/slush filled lot. I'm so mad and disappointed. The front by the office is nice and plowed though, of course. Having to drive in and out of there almost daily is messing up my vehicles' traction control and stabilitrak system, the snow is still so deep and throwing me all over the place as I get through all of that. Please hire someone and get that cleaned up. It's going to be a flood after this. We're all paying customers and this is ridiculous.

I needed a storage space in order to do a transitional move in phases. Stopped by to check prices. The office manager was amazing and very friendly. Nicolle helped us find the perfect unit at the right price. My experience was fantastic and I highly recommend based on the excellent experience I received.

I thought this company was a great place to rent a storage unit. It is convenient, clean, and HAD a great monthly fee...even the customer service at the desk is wonderful. HOWEVER, after renting a unit for 2 MONTHS, I was informed that the company is raising my monthly rent payment. I was told that the owners (Osbornes) had planned to raise the rates, but did not inform new customers...Ridiculous! You could have let me use the unit for at least 6 months or a year before raising the monthly fee. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! POOR BUSINESS ACTS! One star business!
UPDATE: On December 7, 2023, at my convenience, I contacted Kenny about the above situation. He submitted a request for the owners (Osbornes) of the company to contact me. I was never contacted. I terminated my account with this company December 13, 2023. Moreover, I want to be clear, Kenny, at the front desk, was very respectful and courteous. However, the owners of this company deserve a one star rating! They DO NOT STRIVE to deliver the best service to their current customers. Thus, why would they care to give good service to new customers. They only care about the money and don't care about their customers! RIDICULOUS BUSINESS ETHICS! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!
