A very cute nursery. It's the kind of place you want to just stay at and walk around. So many cute little spots to explore. My only complaint is that the plants they sell are on the expensive side. I spent a ton of money on a hibiscus plant and then sadly saw it much cheaper at another nursery. I was okay with it because I like supporting local businesses. I will definitely be back to this nursery as it's close to our house and my daughter likes walking around here.

Had a great session with Nancy. She was so helpful in picking out plants and flowers, especially for color throughout the seasons!

This nursery is beautiful and the people are very nice but it's not ran very well. I went there last week for the first time and I was told by their employees not purchase and to wait for the Labor Day sale. I was told by the owner to come on Friday morning. I went back Friday morning and she said I am sorry we've been so busy nothing if ready can you come back on Sunday or Monday. I went back on Monday and still no sale the employees were confused and had no idea what I was talking about, even the information I was given on some of the plants the first time I went there were different. I left frustrated and won't be going back.

I love this nursery. We shopped their for several years as we've landscaped our house, and the plants are of high-quality and always thrive. I love their selection of native plants as well, and often pop-in for gifts for friends too.

We bought 4 apple trees, 2 died and one of which was broken on delivery. They told us to tape to branch which we did. My husband went back multiple times over a year to ask for help since they visibly were not thriving. We finally returned this spring when it was clear that 2 died, only to be told we were “disingenuous.” This was a terrible experience and with the owner.

So extremely disappointed and angry with MADELINE GEORGE NURSERY, EAGLE, ID. I was given a gift card for $100 to use for our landscape in our new construction home. I unfortunately missed the expiration date on the gift card and asked the owner if she would honor it. She rudely told me no! So watch out for purchased gift cards with expiration dates from this unprofessional vendor. I am an avid gardener who also does work for private parties and I will never use this nursery for myself or my clients again. The Idaho states that gift cards without expiration dates can be used up to five years from date of activation. Unfortunately, this card had an expiration date that was exceeded. Very disappointed!!!

Excellent assortment of plants of all kinds, and for all conditions. Expert advice and beautiful surroundings. Prices are reasonable and comparable to the big box store, so support your local gardening store!

Yesterday I bought a trellis and asked a young lady that works there what type of flowering (fragrant) vine would work with it. She showed be Wisteria and Trumpeter vine. I asked which would be most fragrant and fast growing she said the Trumpeter plus it would draw Hummingbirds. Enough said. I Rented a truck from Home Depot and picked them up. When I got home I looked the vine up and every reference I read said "highly invasive" and not to plant near houses and/or foundations. As it was too late to call when I got home, I called first thing this morning at 9:00 am (opening time) and explained my situation; specifically that the would young lady failed to tell me that it was considered an invasive species and that it should not be planted 6' from a house. I explained that it was going to be within a few feet would that allow me to return it and pick-up the Wisteria in place of it. The women said there was a no-return policy but she would ask the owner. She came back and said she would allow me the return is but there would be at 20% fee. That would have been $50!! I have spent several thousands of dollars over the last two years, and although Madeline (the owner was arrogant and rubbed me the wrong way) after reviewing other posts I will never again do business with her again!! What a disappointment given that I would have spent several thousand more over the next few years as my wife and I are redoing the landscape of the house I just bought.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO MY MY WORST ENEMY!

Cute little nursery off the beaten path but after stopping by my friend and I decided to set our books down and study as we are college students. Madeline’s has this adorable sitting area/coffee space next to their green houses. But after about 45 minutes. An older woman( I presume to be the owner or manager?) SCOLDS US (myself and my friend) for being at the nursery for more then an hour. And that the “space is not meant for a long time visits or study sessions” and that we needed to leave. The barista(great coffee btw) there felt so embarrassed and apologized to us directly. And after it all, the strangest part was the old woman promptly kicked us out by saying, “let some other people enjoy the space” when in reality… we we’re the only one’s there
