I had an horrible experience today with the associate at this location while attempting to do a return. She was one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered and very clearly is in dire need of customer service training. An absolutely terrible representation of Michael’s. Unacceptable at BEST.

They didn't have the yarn I was looking for. When you walk in you are greeted by an abundance of different smells some good some not so good.

The bathroom are horrendous! The paper towel holder is literally sitting on the floor dispensing the towels onto the floor.

Staff not helpful at the Franklin store. Items that show in stock online are not really in stock. This is the second time staff is just put out when asked to help find something. No one in line and they were not busy.

The store shelves were empty granted the chaos of Christmas just ended. I did find a battery candle and stand on sale.

I have always enjoyed Michael's and their selection is fairly good. Not the biggest craft store you will see but usually can find what you need. Depending on the time of year, stock can be a little spotty but nothing too noteworthy. The store is usually clean, shelves are neatly organized. Staffing seems relatively minimal but I have not directly had much of a need to ask anyone for something. The self checkouts have been a little strange to get use to but seem to work pretty well. I have been able to use the rewards programs and add coupons and vouchers myself with no issues.

We love the amazing sales and quality of products during the holidays. Check out is a breeze and staff are friendly.

Had a gift card uploaded in my app and none of the employees could figure it out. My little one was crying and one lady was helping then just brushed us off and helped others checkout leaving the lady helping me to try to figure it out. Another person’s came up and barely did anything. Ended up not getting to use my gift card because I needed to go. I’ve not had bad experiences but todays was not good, it wasn’t even busy, lack of helpful employees.

Great for a big box store. Friendly employees and what you’d expect

It looks like this store hasn’t been physically cleaned in weeks. Dirt, dust, and debris everywhere. Nobody to help you find anything and only one cashier and six self checkout stations. Save yourself the aggravation and just order what you need from Amazon and have it shipped to your door. You’ll save yourself the aggravation and headache and save tons of money. I could see shopping here if they paid for a fully staffed store but it’s all “you’re on your own, good luck!” I can see why brick and mortar stores are dying so quickly.

I dislike going into Michaels stores, hadn't been in one in a long time. Today reminded me why...just completed my shopping with them, for the last time. Never again. 1. The inventory of large frames for self framing AND custom is poor and you can't find anyone to help. I searched the store, saw only 1 person at register and my subsequent experience with her (Venessa) was pathetic...talk about a downer. 2. Holiday small decor ornaments are all jumbled up together in baskets - not separated out by design/type. Can't see what they have, have to scrounge thru baskets and hope to see something interesting. 3. Employees at check out have no customer skills. Seems bothered to be there ( I've experienced this before).
Not friendly. Not communicative. Not approachable. Non caring of customer or merchandise. When I am friendly, courteous and engage politely as I'm making my purchase, I expect a modicum of the same. Not sullen, don't bother me attitude Especially when I'm spending money$ and am trying to be a friendly/courteous customer. I asked politely for heavy candles to be double bagged as last time I purchased the 3/$99, my bag split. She didn't look at me, didn't pay attention to the weight in the bags. She grudgingly gave me another bag and then once again did not double bag the 3rd candle. In what world would I not also need the 3rd candle double bagged?!
I am so very tired of companies that allow this non caring, "whatever" type of customer service ( lack of...). I'm done. Never worth the reception received. Today was a good reminder. No more Michaels.

They didn't have what I was looking for, but the people were friendly
