I was told when I opened up my account that if I don't overdraft over $40 I Won't be charged a $30 overdraft free But that's Not True. I overdrafted $8 and charged $30, and at a different time overdrafted $20, and charged $30

Entire staff refused to wear a masis, putting all customers their families and community at risk… The least they could do is follow CDC guidelines for masking in all indoor places in Boise . The general manager told me how great a little plastic piece between here and I was… Ignorance is not bliss, it can kill ..., you are in the Customer Service business what you do with your life and your health is your business, when you put others lives at risk it is not. Is this what you call customer service ? if you can’t respect your customers and their lives and safety enough to put on a darn mask, I can sure find another place to put my money and bank with that can .. get a life, don’t take others !

I have visited this bank at this specific location (Cole and Fairview) three times total. The first two times were deposits—simple, friendly service, in and out. That was what I expected today...and then my quick withdrawal turned into a 45 minute fiasco during which time I endured a lot of unprofessional behavior, a complete lack of attention to my transaction (multiple mistakes through the process), verbal harassment from another customer behind me, and lack of any apology when the errors on their side were discovered. I remained calm and kind throughout but I hope my lack of reaction does not equal a sense that everything was “fine”. Because everything about my experience today was so wrong. After being detained 45 minutes for a transaction that should have taken five minutes, I did not have time to speak to a manager—who strangely never showed their face during the whole process—but once I do, I will update my review once I have.

The absolute slowest bank in town. Been in line over 30 minutes in the drive thru multiple times. New lady manager isn't nice. I accidentally got over draft (very rarely happens) and they hit me with 4 fees and she refused to work with me. The last guy manager was so much better! Been here for years, but might be time to switch!

Called me to complain about me using the ATM to deposit change. Sorry, thought ATMs were for depositing money. Make it clear next time and write cash only? Extremely unprofessional.

I am a Mountain West Bank customer and go to this branch because it's close to my home. However, the tellers are All very welcoming and warm and nice to me, and very professional when I am a customer and come in to take care of financial business. I also want to mention the Assistant Mgr: Amy who has recently gone above and beyond, take a lot of time working with me, and has exceeded providing quality customer care, just to limit negative funds so I can get by living and have the economic needs I each month, like groceries, cat food/supplies,gasoline, college material, etc. It's not that common for a bank, and their branch in Cour de 'lane, ID to call and work with you, check on you to see how your doing each week, and just show genuine compassion and care, as long as you are responsible and agree to pay off your end of the debt and it's not a reoccurring event. There are great one of a kind banks out there, I'm at one, and if your not at Mountain West Bank, you should consider free checking and savings accounts, and become a member today at any branch location across the Treasure Valley, ID.
