I took my Junior Girl Scout Troop here to earn their Jewelers badge. From my first phone call with Sabra to set things up I was completely blown away. She is kind, patient and welcomed us with open arms. She is a natural teacher and made our learning experience a creative endeavor to remember. Do yourself a favor and go hang out with her for a while, bring some friends and make cool stuff.

I was pretty disappointed in the selection of beads, the high prices for the gemstones, and lack of variety of them. The employees are super cool, though.

Need to Bead is AWESOME. I love supporting local small businesses and this is a great one.The owner keeps quite the array of stock for all your jewelry needs and is very helpful. My favorite part is the handmade bags she uses instead of plastic. I use them to hold my tools at home.Skip Joannes and Michael's and hit up Need to Bead first!

The best place to buy beads. The owner Sabra is constantly helping the community. She even makes her own bags out of scrap fabric. When you shop here you’re not only supporting good ol’ fashion brick and mortar but a valued community member.
