We needed brake parts for an issue on our road trip. Unfortunately, they didn't have what we needed, but Tom checked inventory and sent us over to the Overland store very nearby that had the stuff we needed. 👍🏻

Went to this store back on 09/14. I asked a gentleman (short grey hair and a mustache, older guy) for the OBD2. I checked and it was misfiring in multiple cylinders and scrolled down further proceeding to the O2 Sensors code for Bank 1. I saw that I was getting some really off readings from my O2 Sensor’s. I took it back in and told him I’d like to buy some O2 Sensors due to the misfire. He told me that O2 Sensors don't cause a misfire and stated that it’s caused by Spark Plugs. I informed him that I just had them changed and that they are in fact not the problem. He continued to state that they are and I requested him to look at the codes and he did. Once he looked at them, he stated that was I “messing around” in the menu of the OBD2. I replied that it was weird because all I did was try to look at the readings on the Misfire Code. He proceeded to state that it was not an O2 Sensor problem and that he highly doubts that it is but he’s okay with selling them to me in a very belittling voice. Agitated but politely, I told him to take a look at the codes himself so we did. He got frustrated with me because I didn’t turn on the power to the vehicle and plug in the OBD2 for him when he had it in his hands. Once we sorted that out he began to look at the codes. When he scrolled down he was shown the readings that I was shown that he stated that I was “messing around” with. I informed him about the O2 Sensor readings and he continued to be agitated at my suggestion when I knew what the issue was. He began to bolster his voice and continue reading the codes while talking over me with others in the parking lot. At this point I was done and told him that’s all I needed. I will state that he was helpful for the research to an extent when we looked at the codes. He typed in “P0300” which was accurate, and it populated a list of the potential issues. Number 5 was the O2 Sensors. With the readings that the OBD2 was reflecting and the item displaying on the list, I knew what to continue with and did not bring up the O2 Sensors to him because I already knew the result of that conversation. I thanked him and left and proceeded to AutoZone just to buy O2 Sensors. Once I applied them in the place that they go on my vehicle, the misfires went away. I give this review four stars because I’m the past they have been extremely helpful and I feel that this one interaction does not justify a one star. Usually I don’t write reviews but I just want other to know about this experience and if he has been an issue in the past.

What would have been a miserable night of car problems was made way better by the patience, kindness, and hard work of the staff. They helped me install the new head light I needed when I was struggling because of the poor aftermarket installations done by the previous car owner. Thank you!

I think this is the location my 18 year old daughter visited. Ron went above and beyond to help her with a portable air compressor she previously purchased there that blew some fuses after she tried it to fill a flat tire . Thank you from a mom all the way in Washington!!
