Shankaron Market and Restaurant is an amazing eastern restaurant serving delicious and affordable Somali cuisine. The food is absolutely amazing, with a menu offering plates like Syrian beef shawarma, shish and kabab Iraqi, rice and goat meat, and beef sambusas. The beef sambusas and the green sauce are to die for. The goat meat is tender, juicy, and flavorful. The restaurant also operates as a market, selling hand slaughtered and hand cut halal meats including crescent chicken, lamb, goat, camel meat, and beef, plus spices and other goods. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and provides lovely service. It is a family shop with absolutely lovely service, and is highly recommended.
Nice & friendly people. Good place if you are looking for Aftrican/Ethiopian spices & grocery. Easy to find what you are looking for & the owner is helpful. I wish they carried more options/choices for popular items but I am glad they are here even with limited options.

I have been going to this place since I have been in Boise working at Micron and I am very happy to say this is one of the best places here. I get all the skin care things from here and I can also get some of the best food in one stop. Customer service is good and the ladies are really helpful when asked questions 👍🏾

Loved this store!!! The service was amazing, and the atmosphere brought back so many memories of home. Everything felt welcoming and familiar. Definitely a place to check it!!
