I just got my ring back after taking it in to have the star garnet polished and the ring cleaned. The staff was helpful. Their family dogs were there and that was lovely. The price was definitely great, totally worth every cent and the ring looks amazing!!

My fiance took my engagement ring here as his family members have brought their jewelry to this place and they did the most amazing job :D. I will recommend this place forever.

Great space but I live about 4 blocks away and have to wake up at 2am or 6am listening to their awful muscle car rumbling around the neighborhoodI have no idea what that car has to do with selling gems but I do know it wakes up the neighborhood

They had my watch for three months looking for a new band. When I called again they told me it was repaired and ready to pick up. When I picked it up I was charged ten dollars. I left and later discovered it had not been fixed. I was very disappointed. Not a good way to run a business.

I can truly say that the last pleasant experience that I had at Stewart’s was in 2017. Since then, it has been six years, and several visits. The general tone of the shop is not kind. Regarding my own knowledge or questions, the staff and owners were incredibly rude and/or condescending. I thought I had caught a couple of bad days- but it would seem not. I met them at the recent Gem and Mineral show and they were by far the most overpriced, and quite honestly, the rudest booth. I have been coming to Stewart’s for over twenty years now since I was a child enamored by minerals and stones. The last several treatments have driven me away from buying with them- in search of other stores. I can honestly say, if you’re looking for something more metaphysical, I would recommend Earthlight on Fairview. If you’re looking for local, knowledgeable, and kind, I would suggest Earthbrite off next to BigLots in Meridian. It you’re looking for expensive and quality products from all over the world, then Astro in the Village is exceptional. But Stewart’s is incredibly lacking in all of these departments. If you need an overpriced Star Garnet, then Stewart’s is your place.

Absolutely stunning gems and jewelry! They care more for their community then any other jeweler I have met! Extremely fair prices and the 4 legged welcoming committee add a real family feel when you enter this establishment! Kudos!

I used Stewart's to resize some rings. It was a quick turnaround and reasonably priced.

My husband and I have been going to this shop for a couple of months now. Always buying something. Today we stopped by to pick up more grit for our tumbler. But we will never be back. The older man made a comment about maybe making some money off us because we have more than one tumbler. He was rude and rushed us out. I'm getting ready to get my birthday jewelery soon. I'm not going to be getting it from this store. They judge people by there cover. We don't dress like money on purpose. Then we can see who's deserving of our business.. Too bad . Service is what I was looking for.

Stewart's is a hidden treasure in West Downtown. In addition to their amazing selection of jewelry, watches and rocks/gemstones, they are also a full-service jeweler! For very reasonable rates (often the best in Boise) you can get your jewelry resized, repaired and cleaned! My family has been coming to Stewart's for years and will never go anywhere else!

Brent was extremely creepy to my girlfriend when she went here, invited her next door to a home, spoke about / showed her things entirely inappropriate and disconnected from her wanting to purchase some stones for a project. Go with a friend.

OMG Brent is really talented and he's the sweetest guy ever. Thank you for showing us (me and Amy) how to turn a stone into a beautiful cabochon. I'm really looking forward to visit again.

Although I have not visited the shop for many years, I was there to see it's beginnings as our family were good friends of Dudley, Alberta. Their son and daughter were my playmates on many occasions. Mr. Stewart had a small room in his home where he cut and polished stones, watching him work was always fascinating. Mr. Stewart was my first Scoutmaster until we moved to the east coast in 1944. It is gratifying to see how the the shop has grown and the success it enjoys. It was hard earned and the reputation it enjoys is well deserved. Quality people, quality stones, quality work. Somewhere hanging on its walls there might be a painting of the shop I did years ago. My best wishes for blessings and continued success.
