I recently discovered Stor-It Self Storage when I needed a small storage space. I called to see if they had space available. They did. The person was very friendly and courteous and gave me the information I asked about. He was just as friendly and courteous when I got there. He made the process of renting very easy. When I said I would like to set up an automatic payment he did it right then. The space I rented was clean and easily accessible. The security measures tell me my space is secure.

It was easy to find the unit I wanted, fill out the “paperwork”, and start stowing my stuff within a few hours. And the unit and entire facility is clean and safe. All the “boxes” are “checked”.

TLDR: Reserved a uhaul online and nobody was in office to provide truck during their posted office hours. Terrible customer service trying to sort it out.
Reserved a uhaul and when I got there to pick it up nobody was there and the door was locked.
Called their help line and they said “somebody will call” and they gave me another number to call for help. I got tired of waiting for them to call me so I called the other number I was given and it was just the uhaul hotline (big help that was). The somebody that was supposed to call called me 45 minutes later and it was a manager from a different location. The person didn’t seem to care at all that I was trying to get a uhaul and that nobody was at the office during the hours posted on their door. No apology, no “we’ll make it right” just a condescending “oh you could have done contactless pick up”. If I wanted to do contactless pick up I would have picked that option. By the time the person called me I had already gotten a uhaul from a different group.
100% very disappointed.
