The themed rooms are fun and warm. They honor military/ veterans with a discount. Because it is winter and a weekday our room rates were extremely reasonable. The staff is friendly and helps you feel comfortable.Rooms: Fun themed rooms with great amenities.Nearby activities: Close to the park, and great restaurants.

I will preface the following with an update that as we checked out this morning, the cost of our snacks were graciously covered - I assume to address some of the points below. It’s difficult to write this, but I do it just to help set proper expectations. My wife and I have been coming to this Anniversary Inn nearly yearly since 2012 and have stayed in many rooms. Over the years it has been a lot of fun, and some of the rooms are really great. But in the last few years, the facility and the service have deteriorated quite a bit, and I’m not sure we will return again.Three years ago we came and could not check into our room because someone was squatting in it, and once they removed the individual they had to bring in professionals to clear it for drug paraphanalia, so we stayed in a room we had not picked out. The following year the hot water heater associated with our room was broken, and this wasn’t figured out until late into the night after we had long-since settled in the room and moving was really inconvenient - and of course into a room that we had not taken the time to pick out.We are just finishing our final visit, and I’ll just share what we’ve experienced:1. The room we are in is listed with a king sized bed, but it’s a queen.2. The fireplace has not been properly maintained, so that the dimmable lights are non-functional. When you try to turn down the bright white light to see the fire, everything goes from full to off, including the fire. So when the fire is running, you can barely see it through the white light. And it’s too bright to leave running at the side of the bed. The option provided was to go find another room - this would have been the third year in a row that we wouldn’t sleep in the room we had picked out.3. When we ordered a snack we were informed that they only had one regular coke in the hotel, and no diet cokes (what we were looking for).4. Based on (3) above, we kind of giggled when our breakfast arrived without the hot chocolate that we ordered (the night before) … we got a call a few minutes later that the hotel was out of hot chocolate.5. Essentially we came back because we had a gift certificate for a free night plus a few $10 cards accumulated over previous visits. Well, the gift certificate for the free room doesn’t cover tax, and when we paid for the tax with these cards (which I was happy about because I anticipated a free stay), there was no change returned or a recommendation to purchase something with the overpayment - the tax was around $22 and I paid with $30 in cards - no invitation to do something with the remaining $8 that would have been enough to purchase several things that are offered. I know this one was on me, but I feel that a service-oriented front desk might point out that I had money left over and what I might apply it to to enhance our stay. None of that - just a key.

I love the whole concept of this place, and I'm grateful to have such a neat facility here in Boise. Keep up the good work, Anniversary Inn! So much fun!Rooms: There are tons of fun themes to choose from.

Had a wonderful time at the Anniversary Inn, Boise location. My wife and I stayed in the Sun Valley room. We love the outdoors and cabins. So, this was perfect. Wonderful theme and really fun to stay in. The room was very clean, and well put together. Everything was in working order. Service was great and very nice. Entire building is striking from the outside and well taken care of. The only issue I had was online says king sized bed, and the bed is actually a queen size. That is an easy fix on the website. Overall, great time and will definitely be going back to try different themes.

It was tucked away from heavy traffic and was such an awesome experience. We tried try different rooms and the favorite turned out to be the marble room. They just look so elegant and that makes the stay so much fun. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

My BF and I booked the Palace room here for our anniversary with high hopes, but were sadly disappointed. For paying $300 a night for a room, we expected to have a decent bed. However, in addition to being rock hard, the bed was visibly sunken in and “taco’d” in the middle, leaving us both to wake up in the morning with back pain.Although the room was nice, this place clearly hasn’t been updated in ages. The hallway carpet was old and absolutely HIDEOUS! The bedspread was awful. The tub didn’t have a drain stopper, and the young gal at the front desk (who was very nice) had to go steal one from another room. When we told the inn keeper about the bad bed the next morning upon checkout, she didn’t seem the slightest bit surprised, acknowledging that the bed was bad and only said “that’s a bummer.” Didn’t offer to discount our room or anything! Then she made a comment that we were the only people who had complained about the bed in the last 3 months! (Which I find hard to believe! I am enclosing a picture of the bed below.)She then commented about how the other rooms also had bad beds! When I suggested they get a new bed for this room, she said that she would just switch it out with another one instead of getting a new one, letting it slip that they just rotate the bad beds around! UNBELIEVABLE! ?♀️We will NOT be staying here again as long as this is how they run their business!

I can't give this place enough credit. I have never felt so relaxed. The Anniversary Inn is a "must stay" location. You will love it! The price was more than fair, the amenities are top notch, the food was delicious and the staff are warm, welcoming and professional.

Upon arrival you couldn't help but notice the building looks like a castle the staff is very friendly and the theme rooms are a nice uniqueness of the only criticism I could have is it for the price the rooms do seem rather dated. A concierge service would be nice.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and overall, parking was tight to get out of. Walking distance to many restaurants were close. The breakfast food was not worth the wait but the yogurt fruit mix was good. We will go again.

He had a great time. The theme rooms are so fun. We were able to get away for our anniversary. Great staff and the hot breakfast delivered to your room is a nice touch. Very quiet and easy to relax. We will go back.

We spent one night in the Country Garden room with the Crazy for You package. Everything about our stay was truly wonderful and we will definitely be back for another night next time grandma is in town to babysit. The rose petals, instrumental music, dim lighting, and fireplace all made for a very romantic ambiance. The bath was big enough for the two of us (I'm plus size and hubby is average). The spa box was a nice add on as well. I will be recommending this hotel to all of the couples I know. The location is walking distance from bar, restaurants, and downtown activities.

We rented the Zen Garden for our 55th Anniversary ! The room felt erie, cold and damp. we tried to enjoy the evening but there was some strange vibes going on there. My husband and i both felt a presence there. We did try to go to bed to get some sleep but kept waking up to a feeling we were not wanted in that room. We did pack up at 1:15 AM and left the building! It wasnt a harmful feeling just a your not welcome here. My husband has some physic visions occasionaly this one was of several people present in room and centered on a 40+ yr old woman with long blonde hair, a hat with flowers looking out the tower column window. Anyway as soon as we left the building the feelings were gone. I would def. like to rty a different room sometime.
