The room was very good and comfortable, the breakfast was nice, and the pool was pleasant. Everything was good except two things: 1) the internet was hard to connect to and even harder to reconnect the following days of your stay -- their captive portal is doing something non-standard, and so it does not work with MacBook. 2) They added "resort fee" to the final bill, something that was not present during the booking; and by the way, there is no resort -- so why the fees?

Pleasantly surprised. Well maintained, clean hotel with large rooms. Everything looks brand new. I enjoyed spending time at the "Deck" on the 3rd floor, listening to live music, drinking a Deschutes Black Butte Porter, munching on a "Cocky Balboa" chicken sandwich and taking in the views of downtown Boise, with views of the Capitol from the Deck. Kids enjoyed the pool and had it to ourselves. Breakfast is average, but I really enjoyed the coffee. Parking garage is on the small size but we didn't have any problems finding a spot. It was not a BSU football game weekend, which probably is why it wasn't too crowded. Convenient to lots of restaurants, bars and shopping, parks, etc.

This Residence Inn is on steroids, when you walk in you'd think you are at JW Marriott. Beautiful décor, employees are fantastic, very helpful most importantly they like their jobs. I can tell because they are always smiling. Breakfast is the best I've ever experienced, and I've experienced a lot of hotels around the world. Rooms are spacious and clean, comfortable beds. Close to everything, great restaurants are a stone's throw away. Coming to Boise ? This is a must hotel to stay in.

Great hotel, nice large rooms, seamless check in and lots of things around!- the lobby looks brand new, the breakfast is free and worth it.. included a nice breakfast setup for you + the family (even had a cold brew brew coffee station). I usually don't comment on hotel breakfast bc it's usually not good but this one is WORTH It!- gym is small ( has free weights) but has all glass windows looking out onto the city so it's nice to work out in, Right next to pool as-well. -the room was spacious and included a full kitchen, if you prefer to stay in. There is a Trader Joe's right next to thisHotel!-the staff (front desk + breakfast staff) was all very helpful and friendly!Overall: this property feels brand new and if you are visiting Boise, make it your overnight stay, it's worth it!Tons of restaurants, trails and breweries nearby!!!

I happen to be in town for the week and stayed at the RI Downtown. They have a third floor outdoor deck with food and drink. Makes for a nice apres work getaway before venturing out. I had a couple of lagers and the 'Ode to Idaho' flatbread...very satisfying. This is my goto Marriott for Boise.
Parking: If your not a guest there is a sign that says exit is $35....

Location. Location. Location! This property is perfectly located between downtown and just minutes from the airport. It's pet friendly and adjacent to a huge park (Ann Morrison Park) that includes an enclosed, off-leash fog park. It's also just minutes from BSU and there's a great breakfast joint- Elmer's just a minute's walk away. The rooms are clean and quiet. Full kitchens mean you can skip the restaurants if you want, because grocery stores are just a 6 minute drive away.

I'm always apprehensive about where I chose to have my family and I stay. I did extensive research online for the surrounding area (we had never been to) and found this place right in the perfect spot downtown. I had called and spoken with McKaylynn (sorry if I butchered your name) and she was super sweet and helpful over the phone, made me feel at ease. Upon checking in, I was able to meet her and the staff, all of which was extremely friendly and helpful. The towels in the room has some issues but we just tossed those to the side and requested new ones. The room was clean and tidy, otherwise. I wish they would install a Tesla charger though as navigating with a Tesla in the surrounding areas was a bit of a challenge but I can see why they don't. The parking lot gets full QUICK with people parking in the driveways almost. They have an overflow lot outside the structure but that seems a little silly to me. Even if they could add a destination charger in the alley somewhere, that would be a BIG bonus for us for next time. Thank you all for making us feel at home.

It's very easy to give hotel chains poor reviews. As with any stay, ours wasn't perfect and there were definitely areas that could be improved on. Here's what I will say, the Managers and "most" employees care and go out of their way to make things right. The hotel was clean, shockingly well staffed, and provided the family great customer service. The restaurant could use some work, but honestly in todays environment, they did a great job making it right. Well done - it's a great place to stay (business or family)
