Wow I see a lot of negative issues. I rented a truck here in past times and the service was A+ back then. I hope they get it fixed because they have always been my go to company.

Well, you can see by the pile of reviews that the manager here, Aric, doesn't care about how things are going. He must be quiet quitting.
Imagine that you need to pick up a simple 4x8 trailer and want it to be a painless and efficient process. You can forget that right now my friend. If you must rent a trailer, I HIGHLY suggest you go to one of the other locations.
First, U-haul tries to upsell you every step of the way when you are making reservations, but imagine when you are in a hurry, standing there listening to some kid (16 years old) trying to upsell you on liability insurance. He repeatedly argues with you about the merits of liability insurance along the way. In the end I only have one question - what does a 16 year old know about liability? Has this 16 year old ever had to hire a lawyer or something? I mean, he still lives with his parents right? (Wyatt)
You call and try to discuss your complaint with the "manager" that person does not work on weekends - literally the busiest time for U-haul. The assistant manager answers who MIGHT be 18+ and still you will have the same problems.
You finally get help from the one poor older guy out running around hooking up trailers and you think, "Shouldn't the experienced adult be int here discussing liabilities and the kids out here hooking up trailers??" I can only blame that on an incompetent manager.
So anyway yeah, sometimes not owning a truck sucks. I guess I will do some research to see if there is a better place to rent trailers from, even if it costs more. It's not worth a blood pressure rise to deal with these guys.

I have a storage unit there. The ones you pay for have concrete in front of the door, but the "one month free" lockers with your truck rental have big gravel! And they are U haul trucks with the tires taken off, so they sit on the ground. Just FYI.

Reserved a Trailer, and the day before I was to pick it up for an interstate move, they called and said they didn't have one available, and that I'd have to drive to a different town to pick one up if I wanted one. They wouldn't honor their $50, "Reservation Guarantee" because they gave me to option to spend an hour driving to get one from somewhere else.

Audi Q5 hitch install went perfect! Clean install with the wiring! The team was great to work with and was perfect communicating with me when my hitch was shipping and the day before the install to ensure I had the right time to show up.I recommend buying the wiring plan for 2 years, u believe it was 10 bucks.This install would have been impossible by myself, don't be afraid to take your hard jobs to this efficient and caring team. We are lucky to have them so close to our neighborhood

Customer service is terrible!! When asked simple questions about instructions for my newly installed hitch, he told me to look it up online. He could have taken one minute to provide basic info. He was unfriendly and not great to work with, he's the OWNER!! The hitch installation went great, so that's a plus. You can get a good installation AND good customer service somewhere else, for sure!

Reserved a trailer online. Was able to pick it up same day, on a Sunday. Friendly and helped me understand what I needed. The trailer was solid quality. When I returned it, just had to drive up to the drop off area, answer a few questions and was off. Overall, very happy with the experience.

Booked an appointment to add a trailer wire harness. Came to the appointment with the confirmation email.They said they are booked out.Yeah and I’m stranded.Totally lame.

Scheduled an appointment over the phone and verified cost of labor and parts. They rescheduled me to an earlier time without asking or notifying. Then when I was rescheduled a second time I went to get work done for trailer wiring at the quoted price, they told me that their own quote was wrong and it would actually cost $150 more because it was "tedious". Not that it would take longer or that the parts would cost more, only because it was "tedious". Dont waste your time with this place. There are better and more experienced places in the same area that will do a higher quality job for the same price.

My brother went to U-Haul purchased some of their boxes for his move it says right on the boxes that there's 100% guaranteed buyback of unused boxes he went to return them they said he needed his receipt he got his receipt he went back to return them a second time the guy said they couldn't accept that receipt because it didn't have a number on it so my brother asked so this logo on the box means nothing I would think twice before buying boxes from them because I don't like to buy them back no matter what they say
