Cashier gets 5 stars. This 1 star review is for the night shift manager. I came in to get a pack of Zyn. I work night shift across the street and forgot my wallet and everything before coming to work. I’m 41 years old. The cashier was too young to sell the pack of Zyn and then the manager denied me due to not having my license. I had my RN badge on and for sure look at least late 30s. The Idaho law states to ID individuals who look under 30. Hope you enjoyed your power trip lady! I’ll never come back here

Pharmacy drive thru 👎 they destroyed the button for call so customers can’t bother us with calls😀

Everytime I come through the pharmacy area the wait is extremely long before anyone even acknowledges your presence, both drive-thru and in store. It's clear they don't care about customer service.

Terrible pharmacy staff. They do not pick up the phone, return calls, notify you when your prescription is ready to pick up, and hand out narcotics without checking ID. The rest of the store is pretty good.

Best pharmacy I’ve been too. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They really helped me out with my insurance to make sure I am getting the best deal I can for what my insurance covers. I really love how they have their hours posted very clearly for when they close for lunch so I know when they are available unlike most other pharmacies I’ve used. Would 100% recommend this Walgreens!!!

Now before I go further in to this review further, people should know first that I have done some time in prison in Boise, Idaho and for a crime I did not do, and I am still on parole and appealing my case after 9 yrs., however my crime wasn't for any drug offenses or any type of sexual offense. Back in 2005 I fell down an elevator shaft of 12 stories = 120ft, and I survived, but not after spending several years in the hospital in a drug induced coma and for another 2 years I was going through physical therapy and rehabilitation, so that I can learn how to walk, talk read and write all over again, eventually I was released, however not before having multiple surgeries so that I can walk again and then being told, that because of my injuries and all of the metal in my body, pins, plates, screws, and rods, I would have to live with sever pain and take narcotic pain medications for the rest of my life, and the older I get the worse the pain is. I have gradually taken myself off of some of the strongest known narcotic pain medications known to man, so that I can personally function in life and kind of think and do things for myself again. I had convinced my Doctors to give me Tylenol with codeine or what is commonly known as T-4's, a schedule 3 narcotic, and better than the schedule 1 narcotics that I was taking. I was living in the Northeast end of Boise Idaho and moved closer to the Hospitals and moved to the out skirts of the North end in downtown Boise and switched Pharmacies to Walgreens on Broadway and Myrtle Streets. Since switching Pharmacies to this location I have had nothing but problems, first was they didn't have this type of medication in stock and I had to go without for 2 weeks before I could get this type of pain medications, and the pain was so severe that I wasn't able to get out of bed in the mornings, and the cold wheatear at that time made my pain even worse, and so I called the pharmacy to see if they could call another location to get the medication. I explained the severity of my pain and was meet with a very irritated and very rude Pharmacist and was told that under no circumstances was this going to happen and that I had to wait for my medications to come in, then once they came in I had another doctors appointment and explained to him the experience I had with the Pharmacy, and forewarned him that I would change pharmacies if this was going to continue. So then he gave me three(3) prescriptions to last three(3) months until my next visit. Then on 14 April 2024 I had to go to Kentucky to get custody and pick up my great niece and nephew, and then my granddaughter from Georgia to help me with my great niece and nephew during the summer, so I called the Pharmacy and asked if they were able to accommodate me by giving me my medication early by one day and the Pharmacist at that time understood my situation and granted me this accommodation, however I was not told that they didn't have the full prescription of 180 tabs of T-4's for the month before I went and picked them up, but once I got down to Broadway and Myrtle Street Walgreens, they informed me then that all they had was only 120 tabs, but that once I got back in to town all I need to do was come in and that they would give me the rest of the T-4's of 60 tabs. Now here is where everything gets going. As I mentioned above I am still on parole and all of my medications are being counted by my P.O. and accounted for by me so I cannot abuse them and I have to account for everyone I take 2 T-4's 3X a day for a total of 6 a day, it seems to be a lot, but not for me, and really, it's just not enough, but I make it work. So here recently, actually it has been the last two weeks, I have been trying to get the rest of my T-4's "60 tabs" so that I can account for them, and allow my P.O. see that I am not abusing them, she has asked over a three week period for me to bring in the 60 tabs so that she can see I haven't been holding out and over taking my

The pharmacy is so stupid and slow. I spent 2 hours there because they don't communicate to my doctor about the right dosage. I get my doctor to sign a new dosage and the pharmacy gives me what I would've gotten under the old dosage because they ran out of the medicine and never told me. So I wasted 2 hours for nothing. Never coming back here. They are unstaffed with imbeciles.

This is one of the newer Walgreens locations in the valley. I enjoy how it's more updated and stock on items always seems to be good. I usually have good luck finding cool last minute gifts or seasonal/holiday items. Staff have always been nice and courteous.

This store is in line with the rest of their stores. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Went there to drop off a package for FedEx and was told they don’t accept USPS labels on the package. I had an email stating they work together and the lady Lilly and an older lady with glasses at the front didn’t want to hear it. I told them to scan it on their handheld and after they did they saw it was confirmed as FedEx however they still insisted they couldn’t take it. I told them I’ve dropped off the same exact packages before to their store and the Caldwell location without any issues and Lilly said then go to Caldwell. She clearly didn’t want to be there and had an attitude from the start. Finally another lady came up front and actually knew how to do her job unlike the other 2. She scanned it and everything went thru. I can see why Walgreens is in the condition they are in.

Very big store and large selection of products; the establishment interior was so spacious.
