Wells Fargo Bank is a long-standing bank with several convenient branches in the community. The specific location on Fairview receives praise for very friendly and patient staff who go above and beyond, making clients feel taken care of and quickly resolving issues. A specific instance highlighted exceptional kindness and patience shown to a client with disabilities. However, the bank has a history of major problems, including past scandals involving unwanted accounts. Overall, current service at banks is viewed by some as very poor, leading to recommendations for other banks or credit unions that seem to provide much better service.
Simple business with the tellers is great. I’ve tried to see a banker at least 4 different times over 2 years - including with an appointment - and has proved to be nothing but frustrating. Always ended up at another branch.
