Absolutely awful customer service.. Was waiting in line and employee was just standing there not doing nothing, then the phone rings and he proceeds to answer and not help the customer standing in line.. Awful awful customer service..

Came into the AutoZone to get my check engine light checked, waited in Line watched an employee go assist a customer checking their engine light, when it came to my turn, the girl instructed me to do it myself, and I don’t even know how to use the machine. Then proceeded to tell me that she has Covid while she’s working in front of all of these customers. Called the Store to ask for a manager come to find out there was a manager inside the building the entire time named nacho that didn’t bother to step in and do his job .

Today is Friday, November 22, 2024. This review is in reference to store #1187. The store was scheduled to be open to 9PM tonight.
First off, I have to mention I'm not a fan of people showing up a few minutes before closing so I was going against my own feelings, but I was really short on time.
I called the store at 8:52PM when driving to its location to ask about availability and to request they pull parts because I was on my way. The call lasted 2 minutes. When on the call I was informed, the store was going to close in 5 min which I was already aware of. I arrive in the parking lot at 8:57 right before they shut off the outside lights. I ran up to the door, but it was locked. I seen people inside so I knocked on the window next to the door. Someone unlocked the door at 8:59 and told me they already shut everything down. I even show the person my watch and mentioned the time, but I was told for the second time everything was already shut down. Overall I wasted about 20-25 minutes. Wasting my time is one of my biggest pet peeves. This is the second time that the same individual has denied me something in that same store. Looking at the bigger picture it shouldn't be a huge deal. I do appreciate people doing what they are supposed to or going above and beyond though.

My girlfriend went in to get some spark plugs a few days ago, when told her name was Cassie they proceeded to call her "Casey" the whole time. This was clearly purposeful and passive aggressive. Disappointed with how far AutoZone will go to make queer people feel uncomfortable.

Went in trying to find a part that said they had two in stock but they had none. The associate that was helping us was a lady with dark hair and it was short and she was very rude when we were trying to figure out How to get the part we were looking for that said they had stock of. Bad attitude wouldn’t recommend she shouldn’t even be in customer service

After Walmart told me I needed my battery charged I Googled how to get it done. When I discovered that it was free at Autozone I was so relieved! The first gentleman I asked more or less told me I could get it done but I had to go get the battery myself. After trying I had to come back in and ask if they could lend me the right tool, at which point Ciara S overheard. They not only grabbed a whole set of tools but also came outside with me and helped me take it off! (By which I should say they took it off while I watched, mystified. 😅) Any time I need something in the future I will be asking for Ciara, thank you!!

I go here often as of late. Everything is easy to find and there is never a long wait. The customer service is awesome; I never feel embarrassed asking any questions and it's just down the road in a convenient location/plenty of parking.
