this place is foul! we were displaced from our home due to a flood. we have 5 kids. we were getting complaints every day from one specfic lady. destiny. she is the only one who made complaints. she even claimed complaints were made of my children while we were in the pool. claiming they were running up and down the hall. they charged us $330 in fees upon leaving after we had to ask insurance to replace due to the issue with Destiny.. the fees are claimed to have been damaged linens. $54 for two towels that had blood, because my son had a bloody nose. the remaining saying that they had to throw away 8 pillow cases, 3 duvets covers, 2 sheets. when I asked the manager for proof he said " you want proof that your nasty fucking gremlins left stains?" and then proceeded to call my husband a fagot. he said " I showed that fagot in room *** the damage" they never offered to show us. when I called corporate I got called a bitch because of the situation and was told I shouldnt be asking for evidence!

Forget a booking if your address is within a 30 mile radius. My sister just drove from Redmond, Or. and her reservation was denied because her old address was within the 30 mile radius, ridiculous! She may have to sleep in her car in a truck stop. Ridiculous!!!!

This is disappointing, we always look for Best Western when going on roadtrips and its usually a very consistent brand. This place is very disappointing, now the rooms are just fine, the breakfast is mediocre but the real issue is that they don't clean the rooms and that if you need fresh towels you can bring down your used towels and exchange them for fresh ones. At $180 a night in February in Caldwell ID that is just not good enough, and on top of that you are told that up front, moreover the lady at the front desk explaining this borderline snotty..... This is simply not good enough and they should loose they Best Western branding.

My husband and I have stayed here several times, as we have family in Caldwell. The hotel is always clean, the rooms are nice with comfortable beds, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good with a lot of options. I would have to be nitpicking to find fault. We always enjoy our stay and will stay again next time we're visiting.

CATS OR NO CATS??So the hotel itself was good, clean, nice pool area, comfortable.HOWEVEROur company called ahead to ask if they allow cats. The hotel said yes. I personally called ahead, based on another review, to verify that they specifically allow a cat in the room. The person I spoke to said a few times, yes, cats are fine in the pet friendly rooms. We get there, the cat is complaining loudly in front of the front desk (very obvious cat noises), we sign the pet paperwork and pay the pet fee and everything. Then the day we check out (more noises from the cat), a different person at the front desk is very aggressively like, hey we don't allow cats!! Trying to start a problem as we are leaving, after at least 2 different people told us expressly that cats are allowed in the hotel. Make up your minds, geez. Everything was fine till that point, but if they had started a problem about the cat mid-visit, it would have been a big problem since I am disabled, which is why the star rating.

Always have a very pleasant stay here. The rooms are very clean and always smell good. The staff is friendly and the hotel has a gift shop to buy things last minute if you can't make it to the store. The only bad thing in my opinion is the late check in time. I've never been able to get into my room until 3pm or later which is inconvenient when I get off work and don't have anywhere to go. But other than that the place is great.Rooms: Very clean rooms and always smells great.

Tried Best Western Plus Caldwell Inn & Suites again. Major fail, again. My mom came to town for a visit this summer and reserved a room at our local Best Western. When I dropped her off and took her luggage to her room, we discovered the bed to be overly tall. There was no way she could get into it. I struggled to get onto it myself and I'm 20+ years younger than her.I went down to the front desk to see if they had step stools or something to help with the problem. They didn't. I asked if they had rooms with accessible beds. They didn't. Reportedly, they had recently procured new mattresses, installed them on existing pedestals, and they were all beds were the same height. Too tall. There was a halfhearted apology from the young lady working the front desk, but no attempt to rectify the situation or offer a solution.Fortunately, since I live in town (which, of course, means I'm prohibited from staying there ?), I was able to go fetch a step stool for my elderly mother. Without that step stool there would have been no way for her get into or out of the bed.So very unaccommodating and disappointing..Edited to add:...Since there is no way to respond to the owner, I'm editing this review so I can respond here. Instead of being sorry you "do not have a way to lower the height," which you COULD do by using shorter pedestals or shorter mattresses, you could:1. Apologize profusely for your short-sightedness in not anticipating this problem.2. You could apologize profusely for not caring enough to provide a way to mitigate this unsafe and unaccommodating problem.3. You could admit that this is a problem and commit to correcting it.4. You could apologize for not properly training your staff in basic hospitality skills.5. You could stop being dismissive when presented with a valid, reasonable complaint about accessibility and safety.Food & drinks: Breakfast was varied and appreciated!

I reserved a room well in advance of our stay for my sister and I and her dog.At the time I reserved the roomI requested it be on the first floor. The request was confirmed at the time. The reason I wanted the first floor was because of the dog and my sister who uses a walker to assist her to ambulate. On arrival I was advised that my request could not be honored and that we had to take a room on the third floor. My appeals for a first floor room went no where with the rude staff. I was told there was an elevator. Since I was responsible for my disabled sister and the dog this was a great inconvenience and of course it was too late to change my reservation. My concern with putting a disabled person on any other floor than the first puts them at a higher risk of being injured in an emergency where using the stairs would be necessary. That is why I requested a first floor room . It is a safety issue which this motel ignored and therefore put my sister and me at risk of possible injury if I had to help her in an emergency. This was the only motel we stayed at that did not provide a first floor room. Also the beds are not suited for elderly people to get into. They are too high.Walkability: Long distance from parking lot to front entrance.
