We are extremely satisfied with the exceptional customer service from this Camping World Caldwell location. Scott, our salesperson, was very accommodating to our time constraints. Sean in finance was awesome, not pushy on the extras, and was patient with our questions. We ended up doing two walk throughs, and both times, the personnel were very kind and patient. They took a lot of time to make sure our questions were answered and a couple of manufacturing issues were addressed or in process with the manufacturer on one remaining issue on the ceiling in the bedroom. One major props to Dave in service. We had questions on our first tow home without our weight distribution hitch set up. Dave was extremely helpful and kind in taking the time with my husband in the back lot to set up the weight distribution hitch enough to tow our new Desert Fox 27fs home safely. Exceptional customer service in this total process is extremely appreciated. We both work in retail automotive sales and service and appreciate how tough and underappreciated their jobs can be. You have customers for life. Thank you!

I walked in having a difficult day after several difficult weeks with some other RV shops. Jackie and her staff went far out of their way to shine. Customer service can be a very tough career and it’s obvious that they really care and give a hoot. I counted 4 different genuine smiles from the staff before I even was verbally greeted. Happy folks for sure. Thanks Jackie and Merry Christmas.

Do not go to Camping World. Go somewhere else for your purchase and service.Bought a 2023 HW296 from Caldwell, ID, Camping World. Upon delivery, service rep performing breakdown walkthrough with me failed to instruct we needed to unbutton the top from inside near the slide and as a result the top was torn during breakdown in two spots. However, salesperson did not inform and tried to hide fact during breakdown. We timely communicated issue to Caldwell Camping World and they admitted damage and liability for report and planned path forward to remedy. Caldwell Camping World then set up a repair appointment at Camping World in Washington state where we reside and are now refusing to align with Camping World in Washington on repair estimate and will not authorize repair. What a hassle. Brand new unit, damaged on delivery and now need to consider all possible recourse options available. Do not go to Camping World. Go somewhere else for your purchase and service.

Mikael Michaelson this guy calls himself a salesman, Far from that. when we walked in he didn’t seem to wanna help us at all kept asking us what we wanted there, Obviously we were there to buy a trailer not very helpful or motivated to sell. I asked him if we can look at a few trailers and he said everything was locked up so he needed to know exactly what we wanted so we can go look, we just wanted to look at a few different ones he was very rude.Obviously, we are not the only ones who dealt with this issue at this store before, took our business down the street to happy camper and we are happy campers now..

Worst place EVER for purchasing an RV. Our 2022 Coleman has TWELVE...yep 12...repair orders and it is STILL not fixed! They had the trailer more than we have. Asked them to winterize it for us, they didn't and the hot water tank hose busted. They "fixed" it but now the flooring is wet. And just a warning to everyone...Idaho has a LEMON law. But you can't pursue it because the law goes by where the trailer is made...in this case, Indiana, which doesn't have a lemon law for RV's!!! So buyer beware!!!!

We stopped in because our trailer was swaying bad. Dave and Mike went out of their way to help us tighten our sway bars. I am so grateful for them helping us have a safe trip for my family.

Very organized and timely on truck camper repairs. In addition Marylanna kept me updated throughout the process. Would recommend this camping world location to anyone.

GM Cody lies to get more money out of his customers and gets finance on board with the lie just to make an extra buck. Slime. Don't shop at Camping World Caldwell.

We bought a brand new 2022 Fuel F250 Toy Hauler from Camping World for over 60K. We have attempted to use it 3 times and two times it has had MAJOR potentially LIFE THREATENING problems. The second time we attempted to use it we filled the water tank. We were about ready to leave town and the water support bar broke off. If we were driving that could have been catastrophic. It spent a month and a half in the shop being repaired . We just got it back only to have the entire awning fall off. Again, what would have happened driving down the freeway when that happened. Camping World has terrible customer service and products. I will never EVER use them again!

I have never written a bad review but felt inclined to do so in hopes of having future potential customers pay very close attention. After having seen it first hand. My sister and her husband went in there in good faith to purchase a truck camper. They are a young couple and definitely were taken advantage of. Long story short they were told one price and ended up paying far more than they were initially quoted. Many expensive add ons later and amounts that the salesman was not crystal clear about. Being told one price and turned out to be another. Shady and dishonest people to work with. So disheartening to have these people do business this way. Buyer beware.

I just drove from Florida to Idaho and went to 6 or 7 different stores before trying this one looking for a 7 way cord NOT the blade. This store was the ONLY ONE who had what I needed. Caldwell ID for the win!

We didn’t have a positive experience at this store. We had been there twice, the first time, we didn’t get any help. The second visit, we asked for help, the salesman seemed reluctant to help us. He was making negative comments on why we shouldn’t look at a trailer. I told him we wanted to look at the trailer a least 3 times before he finally showed it to us.

Parents took there 5th wheel toy hauler in to possibly be bought by camping world. Camping world did there inspection of it and said it needed a new roof and the water pump supposedly didn't work. We knew the trailer wasn't perfect so they went ahead and had the roof fixed through insurance which was over $13,000 in repairs. After having the roof replaced they gave an offer way under there original estimated offer plus saying there is $7,700 in repairs still needing to be done. So my parents let them know on May 25th or 26th they would just take it back and sell it on there own. My dad picked it up May 30th and the trailer was an absolute mess, camping world never cleaned it. Along further investigation the back ac never was plugged back it and there is screws coming through the ceiling now. We added water to the water tank and the water pump does work just fine. I can't say I'd ever recommend them to anyone for repairs.

Went bye to look at a motor home. We were told that we can’t look without a sales person. I don’t enjoy being pushed by sales people. So sad that they have those rules. I will never step foot in the business again! Next door we were able to look without having someone shadowing us. Better experience.
