Idaho State Liquor Store is noted for its clean, organized, and accessible environment with a wide variety of liquors. The staff is consistently described as awesome, super nice, friendly, polite, happy, and knowledgeable. They provide great information on local items and taste comparisons. The store has lots of variety and good stock, and it is close to everything. It is not a place to bring restless children due to the accessible display of bottles on shelves. Customers appreciate the friendly atmosphere and helpful service.
The gentleman I was traveling with preferred a greater selection of top shelf whiskey, however being a non-drinker the selection of all types of liquor seemed fine enough. They do NOT sell beer and or cigarettes, but do sell some wines. Oh and scratcher lotto tickets at the counter too.
