Passing through this beautiful area and stopped for a quick break. Peaceful, quiet, super clean bathrooms. Great place to stop and grab some local information flyers and take a break. Thank you!

Came to try out our new snowshoes and I really loved how beautiful this trail was. It's flat and easy, but gave us a good leg workout. There is not much parking at the trail head. It was beautiful and magical with all the new snow.

Incredible place. Recently developed campground in state park. Full hookups are in great shape and functional. Parking pad is macadam and wide, accompanied by a large raked sandy area with a picnic table (enough space for a tent as well, I assume). Sites are way far apart - you could put four rv sites in between us and the next guy if comparing to most parks I've stayed. ;View of the beautiful lake with a sandy beach and a boat ramp. Full bathhouse with toilets and showers, as well as vaulted toilets at each end. And the trash dumpsters were far away so that you dont get that downwind fragrance! Looks like the state park is situated all around the lake with small campgrounds. Great plan. The host visited us when we arrived, and was very friendly. A cut above many state parks I've visited. No wonder I was only able to find one site for night!!!!

We had reservations for 5 nights at Lake Cascade. We got into the area in the late evening after driving 2 days to get there and found out about the Four Corners wildfire nearby. I have severe asthma and couldn't get within a couple miles from the lake when I had an asthma attack. So, we ended up scrambling to find another place to stay away from the fires and had to set up camp in the dark at the new location.I did not have a cell signal at the alternate campground to cancel my reservation. When I got back into cell range a week later, I called to see about getting a refund and was told that Lake Cascade was not offering any refunds due to the fires. It didn't matter that I had health issues that kept me from staying at that campground.

The drive here is amazing! We have taken the family to walk around enjoyed the scenery a few times now. We also visited during winter and there was tons of people ice fishing and riding their snow mobiles all over the lake. Gorgeous during both seasons.

The camp sites were clean and were big enough for our ford dulley and trailer. There are trails to the lake and plenty of sandy beaches. The camp host and park rangers were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this spot for your next camping adventure.

We came here when we found out how packed Yellowstone was. This was a great choice! The town was cute, the lake warm, and restaurants were fantastic! We rented a side by side and roamed the hills the last day.
