“I recently moved out to a rural area in Arimo. Doing web development work from home as my family's main income, I was a bit nervous about the internet situation living in the country. I've had T-Mobile for cell phones for 20 years, but they didn't offer 5G home internet in my area yet, so after seeing some yard signs and doing a good amount of research over several weeks, I decided to give AlwaysOn a shot.
Chad and Caden showed up promptly and were quick to get me hooked up and running. The install was painless and I was up and running when they left.
I'm only about a month into it so far, but I've been surprised and impressed with the service. Coming from gigabit cable internet in the city, speed was a concern, especially with my large, frequent file downloads (often many GB) related to my work. I've been pretty consistently in the 50-70 Mbps speed range, which has turned out to be plenty for our family of four's typical usage so far. We've never had any hiccups in the service; no HD video buffering; seamless high-quality video calls; etc. I haven't put it through the ringer with any online gaming yet, but I don't have doubts that it will handle it, in moderation.
I recently had to call their office with a technical question, not related to any service problems, and I was immediately sent to Caden, their tech, who quickly and professionally addressed my question.
For the service we are getting, in the rural area we're getting it, for the price we're paying, I don't know that I could be any happier with the service. Considering some of the (admittedly limited) downsides I've heard about satellite and 5G home internet, and seeing how AlwaysOn has performed, I'm very happy with my decision and would go with them again in the future.”
