Nice little place. $10 anyone, no more kids price. No need for any ID. Cash or check only there. All pools were open when we went today. One small very hot, then a bigger hotter down from the very hot pool. Then a med warmer pool with sand in the bottom and then three smaller ones that get cooler as you go down.Kid friendly, just not be rowdy. Can be a little slick on deck with frozen water on them.It might be a good idea to bring shoes to go from the changing room to the pool as it's very cold

We always love coming here and soaking for the day. Things are always kept so clean and neat. The day we went was a weekend and arrived right as they were opening. There was a crowd, but things moved quickly. This is a cash only place, they do have an ATM available if needed.Changing rooms are clean. There is plenty of room to soak without feeling crowded, plenty of areas to sit and cool off before going back in. We love that they allow us to bring in our own snacks and drinks.

Had a wonderful experience at Gold Fork Hot Springs for the afternoon. Facility is clean and well cared for and we appreciated the small touches in the office. Don’t get caught up in the COVID debate from the website, no mention made whatsoever. Website just hasn’t been updated. Bit of a drive in off the highway but we’ll worth the visit.

Rough, unpaved road for the last several miles. Suited for AWD or 4WD. Rules: no alcohol, smoking, vaping, drugs, or glass.

Gold Fork Hot Springs was great! It was easy to get to, park and not a terrible walk to find the pools. However I wouldn't suggest it for those with disabilities or not steady on their feet as there were 2 steep hills to go up and down with little traction. On our venture down the hill we ended up finding another separate pool from the main hot springs and had the whole thing to ourselves for awhile. We were told it was shallower than the other pools but the privacy and peacefulness was nice, since the the main hot springs was quite busy that day. Which we somewhat expected since it was Labor Day.

We've been coming to GFHS for years and we love it, it's relaxing and absolutly beautiful. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit except the owner (or the lady at the front desk, not sure if she was the owner or not). We've taken our boys all over with us and we've never been met with such a cold, unwelcoming greeting. She coldly lectured my 13 and 15 year old boys as if they were undisciplined miscreants the moment we walked in the door. They hadnt even said anything. She told them they needed to grow up. The next family tried to walk in and she literally asked them to leave and close the door until she was done. Then the next family came in for their lecture. We were told by the other family she demanded the name of their 2 year old son and kept calling his name and telling him to pay attention to her. It made all of us pretty uneasy. I love the location. And the expectations for behavior aren't unreasonable, but they should hire a kind and warm host or hostess to welcome guests and explain expectations in a better way. It truly had a negative affect on our whole experience.Enjoy the beauty of gold forks, just be warned about the greeter!

I like the concept of converting hot water slowly into the cold water. So basically they have 3,4 pool all connected together from top to bottom level and the hot water flowing from top pool get colder when it reach to the pool at lowest level. The place is neat and clean. It has $10 per person entry fee. You have carry you food along with you as they don’t serve it.

We stayed in Cascade during a cold front, unfortunately. Gold Fork Hot Springs saved the day! We had so much fun soaking in the hot springs. We had to stay in the top two (two warmest) springs because of the weather, but I would love to come back in the heat of the summer and have a picnic at the sandy pool! The water had lots of hair and wasn't the cleanest.. but you gotta deal with the bad when it comes your way...

Visited this place today around 12:30. On our way here we read a bunch of reviews and they made it sound like the owner was a monster with super strict rules. In reality though none of it really applied. The short list of rules we got when we came here was: Keep it quiet/no horseplay/no throwing sand. That's pretty much it. They didn't ask for any covid vaccine cards. There was also a "no alcohol" sign posted at the entrance but I saw a few bud cans in the trash. You were allowed to bring in your snacks/drinks as long as you didn't consume anything in the actual pools. Tons of tables and chairs around. The pools were amazing. Everything was really clean and it looks like the owner really cares about the place. Would come here again if we're ever in the area.

This place was great before they went woke and demanded vaccine verification. Sorry, I don't share any of my healthcare information with anyone but my doctor. Lost my business and I know SO MANY people here in Idaho who refuse to go back to this place!

Owners are openly racist turning away Mexicans because they can't speak English. My Mexican girlfriend and I offered to help translate for two parties that showed up behind us. The owner stated, "if they've been in the US for a year then they should learn english." we stayed to help interpret, and she told them to youtube how to learn English. Shortly after she turned everyone away. The hotsprings are beautiful but not worth supporting an old couple of bigots.
