We had the unfortunate luck to spend almost 2 weeks at Teton Valley Hospital after my father in law broke his hip while on a visit of Teton and Yellowstone. The staff was extremely helpful, informative and effective at their work and supporting us through this event.Surgery done the next day, followed by physiotherapy right away, allowing my father in law to be 80% recover after 3 weeks only!Thank you Teton Valley Hospital staff for your enthusiastic work and support.

For an out-of-state traveler, my experience was outstanding! I went to the clinic thinking I knew my own self-diagnosis, but the doctor asked the right questions and proposed a different diagnosis. After a quick CT scan, he was right! Thank goodness! The staff that cared for me was extremely courteous and did their jobs well, and I can't thank them enough!

Misdiagnosed my sons broken arm. Thankfully went in to get a second opinion. Now cannot reach a human being with billing questions after two days and over 10 calls and several messages.

I’m giving 2 stars because I know some of the staff are amazing. However the low review is due to the lab. In the last year I’ve been dealing with thyroid cancer. I get labs done here so they are ready for my appointments in Idaho falls. EVERY, and I mean every single time I’ve gone in, they have fudged them up. First they were filed in the wrong place, they didn’t have the order or the order was not specific enough. I have had to take more days off to go to Idaho falls to have my lab work done than I can count on two hands. At one point my radiation was postponed because they couldn’t find the same lab order that was sent over THREE times. I have enough to stress about, basic lab work is not of them. Oh and before I get told to talk to management, I have spoken with the lab director. Didn’t help.

While I received decent care from Dr. Clutter in stitching my leg up after a deep cut mountain biking, I'm a bit shocked how much they billed my for 8 stitches. $1600 - for 8 stitches. They double charged for Emergency Department Visits and double charged for the actual stitches.WHAT A JOKE! DO NOT GO TO TETON VALLEY HEALTH. You'd be better off driving 30-40 minutes to an Urgent Care facility in Rexburg or Jackson Hole or even driving to Idaho Falls.NEVER AGAIN.

Following the other reviews here. The staff is wonderful, everyone was very kind. One star for the horrific billing experience. The billing department is unhelpful and nickel and dimes you every step of the way. Do not go here unless you want to be pay 10x what your procedure is worth.

DO NOT support this hospital! They will add additional services to your bill after the fact. I paid in cash at time of service and verified the price at time of service and made sure there would be no additional billing or services. Teton health added billing and services after the fact and their billing department called me years later after they had been paid in full at the time if service years earlier. They probably double bill hundreds of patients and insurance to see who will bay for additional services without reviewing their bills.Do not pay for any services at this hospital go to Idaho Falls or Rexburg.

Its an emergency room. I understand the levels of triage. That being siad, i was tod it was a full house. After 2 hrs i finally got something for the pain. 2 hrs after that i was treated. Keep in mind there were 3 empty beds.

I felt like the staff didn’t necessarily know the best way to do things. They had probably seen quite a few injuries like mine but didn’t handle it very well. However, I did appreciate their help as I couldn’t have gone without it.

Very thankful for you guys and the treatment I received. Little disappointed in the fact that the nurse offered me all of the suture tools because, as I was told, they were "going to be thrown away." Why are surgical steel tools thrown away after one use and not recycled?

Chris and Phil took wonderful immediate care of me, totally understood the problem and resolved it with 150% care and attention and efficiency. I wish all doctors/nurses were this lovely! Almost worth the injury! Lovely lady on reception too. Would go back if I had another issue

I love the people there but your pricing? You’re taking advantage of individuals. The billing department at Teton Valley Hospital is so worthless it’s appalling. Go anywhere but here. You’ll receive lower prices and better discounts for a self pay customer.

Every single person who interacted with me were incredible.Verenice at the front desk got me right to where I needed to go.Annalee was incredibly sweet, and the other nurse who I sadly can't remember the name of was gentle and kind to me.Janine, my doctor was so helpful and compassionate. Her assistance was amazing, and she immediately helped improve the quality of my life with the medication I needed.Thank you Teton Valley Hospital, this was the BEST hospital experience I have had.Edit:Make sure you stay on top of your billing, TVHC has a difficult time getting their bills sorted and correct in a timely manner. If you pay in full and get the discount be sure they credit it asap.If not it will continue to show as a bill.

My 5yo took a spill and got a pretty good gash on his forehead on Easter Sunday. We went to the ER and the entire staff at TV Hospital was helpful, encouraging, and competent. The nurses and other staff were friendly and helpful and definitely interested in us being taken care of. The doctor was knowledgeable and gave us all sorts of helpful information about concussions and head injuries and also walked us through the options for his injury. We opted for stitches and they did a great job. Very glad they are all here!
