Silver Star is exploiting the lack of ISP in the area. Overpriced and lacking actual service. 15-30 megabytes per sec service if you’re lucky for $70/month minimum. Their customer service is also lacking. I submitted a request for information 2 months prior to my move and never ever received a reply.

Yesterday fiber went live at my house taking my internet speed from 15 mb to 90+. I am very pleased. The techs doing the install were great. Thanks Silverstar!

Silver Star is professional and actively tries to find solutions. Chris Blane has been awesome to work with in the Fiber Installation. Their technicians try to make sure you are happy with their installation.

Driggs, ID. Silver Star Communications--wifi essentially worthless, yet they charge as if they delivered good access. Websites take literally minutes to open. Sometimes it just times out completely. Internet speed is 1 or 2 Mbps. I just tested it on FAST.com--4.6Mbps. This is unacceptable. Very, very frustrating. Don't think you will be able to work from home if you are counting on Silver Star.

Chuck, our tech was prompt and worked very efficiently to accomplish what we scheduled for. He provided an overview on what he would be working on and how our internet switch would be routed, identifying the additional parts he would need and he was prepared and had these items on his truck. Very happy with the service provided and the time it took. Thank you for having qualified, efficient and friendly staff.

My internet service had slowed down to under 1 MBPS so I stopped in at the Silver Star office in Driggs. The service rep logged into the system and cleared errors in the equipment in my apartment. When I came home, the speed was back up above 30 MBPS and I have had no more problems.Excellent service in my book!

I don't have Silver Star service so I can tell you how well they do there but I can say that there future customer service is less than par. They put in there fiber line and knocked down a few mature Aspen trees, bummer. I called them 4 times to see if they were going to come over and clean up the mess. This was over a 3 month period. After not hearing back from them I went into there office 2 times to speak with them face to face. The lady at the front desk was cool. After not hearing from them it feels like there more worried about making money verses there future customer service.
