cap ed credit union in eagle idaho on eagle rd/ state st. has very deceptive practices. we applied for for a auto loan and was approved. yet we were not totally approved yet and my interest rate changed. i received noting in writing confirming the interest rate or any terms of the auto loan which i think has a prepayment penality. then i found a car to buy they said i have to get approved which i told them i was already approved. i guess they have to approve you again by the car you want to buy and the interest rate"could" change which they never said anything about when we first applied. i continued to ask them to explain why i have nothing in writing and wanted them to explain their loan process to me, they wouldn't cause they acted like they didn't understand it either! even the branch mgr juvent ramirez was not able to explain it! i would love to talk to the dm as i was told her name is "annette" good luck ever talking to her i was told. this federal credit union does not appear to be following the rules and guidelines of federal disclosure. they really need to be looked into by these disclosure practices they have. we attempted to reach loan person stephen fausey he would never return our calls or emails. called and spoke with the manager juvent ramirez that stephen would not return our calls at which time he said he would have him call me in 10 minutes he never called. i was out and decided to stop in person at which time i saw through to windows the manager running to his office as he looked up at me, and closing the door. i was told he was in a online meeting....right! these employees are very unprofessional and immature. this cu should be investigated by federal authorities.

Twice in the past month I was on hold for over an hour waiting for assistance on the phone.Although the customer service representative was excellent, it seems their customer service system is inadequate. My solution is to open an account at Central Credit Union, which is much closer and is open on Saturdays.

I had an issue with my card so I phoned and spoke with, Jodi. I think she works at the main headquarters. Jodi resolved my issue within minutes. She was professional and maintained her personable decorum throughout our conversation. Her service was one of the finest experiences I have ever had in banking! I tried to set up bill pay on my checking account and CapEd required that I answer two security questions, which is fine, however the two questions they asked I had no idea of the answers (they weren't the ones I set up). I worked with 'customer service' for two days while they waited for IT to respond to the issue and get me access to my money. Well the week has past with no word back from anyone. I'm done. They don't care about their customers so I'll show them the same respect. I'm switching banks.

Been with them since 1972. They could easily put up a sign, good luck if you want expert, friendly service. They have changed significantly over the years. They truly have little or no knowledge. The mc Millan Linder office is closed for lunch, REALLY? Not considering the customers at all. I was told they didn't have enough employees to be open at lunch. Website does not indicate that!!! No drive up window available either. What a waste of a building. They should close it. No,,,,,,,I should change banks. AND I assure you they could care less. They offered to help me close it.

I haven't been with them very long but I'm already ready to switch banks. None of the workers are on the same page. I go into the Eagle branch one of the workers isn't wearing a mask during this pandemic. The others are goofing off and I was kinda rushed. One lady that was helping me kinda just pushed me to the next person and there was no one else the lobby.

I think I’m closing my account. they’re completely inaccessible during an already trying time. Closed lobby AFTER the lockdown is lifted. Trying to resume business to feed my family. Phone line doesn’t work. Literally keeping me from being able to do business.

Not very accommodating during this tough time. They close the lobby earlier than the posted hours, and won't cash a check over 1000 dollars in the drive through. Eagle location is lacking.

Very disappointed. No one actually working drive through. You put ur stuff in. 10 minutes I waited not even the response of hello i will be with you in a few moments. Finally after my 10 minute wait i went in to get my deposit and card back that still no one had touched. Good courtesy would be to close drive through if your not going to respond to customers

They are doing a update and told everyone you would still be able to use ur cards and spend YOUR money but everyone i knows cards are getting declined when I checked there website it said you could still use ur debit card But yet there cards are getting declined for the entire weekend! The least they could have done is give us all a heads up but they made us all believe that it would work! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! you should be able to access your own money expeshally if they tell u 1"+ times that u can
