Hours: Heritage Park is a best place to chill and let the kids play. It has two to three slides, plenty of grass to run on, swings and a pavilion. A charming gazebo and benches provide an ideal spot to relax during evening walks through downtown. The park hosts a Saturday market with mostly local artisans, lots of shade and several places to eat nearby. A lovely down home café survived the CoVID restrictions and serves great hot drinks and marvelous home made baked pastries such as white chocolate cranberry scones. The energy of the Jukebox band at the kick off concert for Eagle Fun Days was incredible, and the audience is amazing interacting.
