Ordered items online with a gift card. I get a call hours later saying they are not instock and I have to come to the store to receive a refund.... The customer service person named Kurtis was completely rude. I asked for a manger as he was unable to answer my question and was becoming increasingly belligerent on the phone. Kurtis decided to lie and start giving me more attitude when asking again to speak to a manager. Kurtis then proceeds to make inappropriate and rude comments proceeding to hang up on me. Now I have to drive over 40 minutes round trip due to Home Depot error to receive my money that they willing took. I will officially no longer be a Home Depot customer. This was a horrendous experiance. When I made it to the store a lady processed my refund. When I explained to her my experience and showed her the incomplete undetailed voicemail she then informed me of the name of the employee, Kurtis. I explained to her how rude he was and she rolled her eyes as if she already knew Kurtis is a huge problem at this location.

They have a fine store here. Excellent service with Xmas Trees. Great store all around. I feel lucky to have this as my "close by" store.

An older gentleman by the name of TIM was very sweet and helpful. He helped me locate what I needed. Also helped me load 25 bags of sand onto the pallet, and helped me with loading it all into the truck. Thank you my friend! High Five!

After several months of back and forth with Ryobi trying to get a mower repaired through the only service center they approved (Rexburg) then being told one of the parts to repair the unit was no longer in production; Ryobi replaced my mower with a sub par, nothing comparable like my original mower without a consult; it just showed up to my home. When I tried to contact what they call a customer service line to discuss, there was never anyone to get ahold of except via chat and that was a failure. I went to my local Home Depot where I purchased my original mower and a very nice salesman Joel, came to my rescue! After several hours deliberating; comparing mowers in stock and speaking with his Manager Eric to approve the store to accept this unacceptable replacement and allow me to choose a Ryobi mower that was more of an exact match to my old unit, I was able to finally have a mower to take home that not only worked but I was satisfied with and actually it cost less than the unit they sent me! If it wasn't for Joel going above and beyond to help me, I feel like I would still be going back and forth with Ryobi! He truly was my "White Knight"!

I go here and order online weekly. The staff is friendly which is always good. The bummer is that more often than not when I get a delivery the items are broken!!!! This happened three times in a row and I had to drive there and return them. A couple times my returns were a big mess because they screwed up the order or didn't clear it in the system or something. They really need to fix their quality control and employee training because I've been ordering more from Amazon and even Lowe's now. And it's not just this eagle store. It's happening in multiple stores and in other states. We have a project in California and the store broke all of the tile we ordered, which took three weeks to get, setting us way back. What a pain. Fix your shi* Home Depot!

Home Depot has really gone downhill. It's very rare to find what I'm shopping for. The employees are of no help. Most supplies I'm shopping for have to be ordered.

I went to Home Depot on 4th of July to return a water trough and garden hose my wife had bought a few weeks prior for the new house we just bought as we just moved to Eagle Idaho from a different state. My wife lost the receipt as we are unpacking and have stuff everywhere from our recent move/ purchase and we prefer to pay cash for our items under the Dave Ramsey model. My wife decided against the trough and to build a planter instead and the garden hose kept kinking so we decided we wanted a kink free hose. I went to Home Depot to exchange our stuff as the return policy on the Home Depot website states, "Returns made without a valid sales receipt may be refunded as a Store Credit at the lowest advertised price." I accidentally forgot my Drivers License (DL) and the store employee told me I needed a DL to return the items for store credit, so I drove home to retrieve my DL within the hour as requested. When I arrived back at Home Depot, a new employee told me I couldn't return the items without a receipt despite the Home Depot website stating, "Returns made without a valid sales receipt may be refunded as a Store Credit at the lowest advertised price. " I immediately asked for a store manager to discuss the policy which happened to be Skie that day per the employee. I was informed Skie was busy and was refusing to meet with me even if I waited. I told the employee I would be willing to meet with any management or wait, to which the employee stated the Manager (Skie) was refusing to meet with me to discuss the policy and that there is nothing Skie could do for me as this was a corporate decision despite the statement I quoted from the Home Depot website. Home Depot in Eagle obviously hires managers like Skie who don't actually want to talk to their customers or lack the respect/ experience to meet with customers when requested. To be fair, In my old state, I shopped at Lowe's and not at Home Depot so I wasn't aware of the lack of respect Managers have for their customers as I've always been treated fairly by Lowe's. Considering I have recently bought a home in Eagle and plan on making upgrades, Skie and his team at Home Depot have shown me they don't care about my business nor have any desire to earn my business with actual quality customer service. Do yourself a favor and try a different department store such as Lowe's or even a locally owned business who value customers. Beware of Skie and his team at Home Depot Eagle.

This location has gone down the drain. I have more negative interactions than positive ones with associates and cashiers. I spend thousands there every month and have my business pro account with them. Today was the final straw... I will be switching to a different competitor for my business and personal needs.

Placed a curbside pickup order and nobody would answer the phone. It rang nonstop for 6 minutes. So I woke my sleeping toddler to go into the store - which suuuuuuucks. My sleeping 2-year-old had to be woken! Ugh. I had placed an order for several bottles of bug spray. A very simple order. But I didn't wanna go inside because of the sleeping baby. When I got inside, I went to the Order Pickup Counter. The lady working the counter was helping a customer locate an item within the store? She wasn't helping her with a pickup order. So I waited. And waited. Then waited some more. Meanwhile, the phone was ringing nonstop and nobody was answering it. When she finished, she walked away and went to the Returns counter and started helping people with returns. Never acknowledged me. After 15 minutes, I left. No bug spray, just a crying baby. I considered just buying the spray in the store and letting them refund my pickup order. But I was so upset I ended up just leaving ... Disappointing experience.

I just thought that I would give everybody an update. GE finally stepped up and sent my mother a replacement dishwasher. They couldn't get the same washer to us so they gave us an upgrade. Thank you GE. It was shipped to my mothers house and we were told that a person would install it. The company hired lost their plumber and said that they couldn't. When I contacted GE they said we would have to pay for the install but they would reimburse us. I called the Home Depot again to talk to the appliance manager and left a message and asked that he call me yesterday. Unfortunately he did not. I feel that Home depot needs to step up and send us a plumber out to install at no cost since we paid $250 for the first install were the guy took 15 minutes and didn't even test the washer or turn the breaker box back on. Home depot has lost my business my sister's business who just spent $60,000 on a new kitchen that took a year and a half for them to install and now my mothers business.

I want to talk to someone about your manager Jeff at the Home Depot in Eagle for being so rude over the phone to me about a donation conversation I had just now. When on Sunday, their employees at check out said they would cover the materials needed to build some baseball benches at our baseball fields by the Expo IDAHO in Boise. They are run down and when I went to buy materials at check out they said they would not only give me a discount but the manager would cover the entire purchase on Monday and refund my card. When I called to follow up just now he was very rude and said the store never would do that. I spend thousand of dollars with that store ever year for my business and you guys can't pay for a community project that your employees said you would cover and do stuff like that all the time. Then, I posted this big Thank You Home Depot for stepping up to the plate and helping out your communities baseball fields. Unreal the change and tone of your manger Jeff at the Eagle Home Depot. I don't care about the money. I myself have donated my time and $1,000 to help restore the fields so far. It's the point of telling me one thing and the manger saying the most he's ever done and it's rare is $200 to a project. Seriously! That's nothing at that store. I buy $500 plus every time I shop there for my Business. Shame on you Jeff at Eagle Home Depot! I will be telling all these people about this situation now. Unreal how you acted over the phone! I will be waiting for you with a blue igloo cooler and take you to the train station big guy! See you when you get off Jeff! See how you act in person.

If you want to be in and out, order online and select curbside. The employees even loaded it in my car, which was nice because it was 30 bags of mulch LOL Thank you 4 a quick, speedy visit!

10/26/21... When I visited Home Depot last spring, mainly I wanted a new jetted bathtub. As long as I was getting that I decided I'd get new flooring for my bathroom and laundry room and new wall surround for the tub. The in-store Home Depot remodel folks were knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. Really, they were great! In May, 2021, a Re-bath (an affiliate of Home Depot) salesman came to my home. I had been sick for quite a while so I ordered through him and I didn't do any research - my mistake. I put $4500 down and waited for Re-Bath to get back to me with an installation date. Finally that date arrived on Thursday and Friday, October 14th and 15th. The installers, Curtis and Austin, were exemplary in their businesslike approach, their hard work, and their craftsmanship. They were nice guys in every sense of the word. The dry-waller was marvelous in his attitude and ability. I didn't receive what I ordered from the Re-bath salesman. The bathtub was white rather than biscuit (so I canceled the matching biscuit colored toilet). The surround around the bathtub ran from tub to ceiling rather than 3/4 up as I had ordered. I did not receive the towel racks that I ordered. I did accept what came because it had taken so long from the time I ordered to the time the installers arrived. This was due, I suppose, to the current supply side shortages. I do like the finished product. My distress with this project is primarily due to the treatment I received from Re-bath after I had paid in full for the project. On Monday, October, 18th, I called Re-bath to ask for an itemized report on the $17,387 I had paid. That is a lot of money for me and I was really curious how it was spent. I requested a breakdown on the price of the fixtures, materials, and labor. The man I spoke with was not from the local Meridian office but said he would have them call me the next day. I waited but they never returned my call. On Wednesday the 20th I called the Re-bath office in Meridian and was told that they do not itemize expenses but she would email me what information they had. That lady told me that I needed to speak to someone named either Damon or David - that he was in charge of my remodel. I heard his name briefly and can't be sure of the pronunciation. She told me he was leaving on vacation the next day but she would text him to have him call me that evening. I did not receive a call or an email. Because I was disappointed and frustrated, my original plan was to drive to their office for a face-to-face, but, that's a long drive and I decided to see if I could resolve the issue by phone. On Thursday the 21st I called the Re-bath Meridian office again and this time spoke to Damon/David. Never in my long life have I been treated so badly by a company representative. This man behaved like an insolent teenager bullying an old lady, subjecting me to ridicule and mockery. All I wanted was an itemized copy of expenses: labor, and materials - so I would know cost of things like the flooring and the bathtub. Damon/David asked me; what did I want to know, everyone's salary? Did I want to know the secretary's salary at the factory where the tub was made? I made it clear that, no, I didn't want to know everyone's hourly wage. I wanted only one figure - the price for labor. Damon/David demonstrated that he didn't want to have a conversation. Perhaps he wanted to put me in my place. Once, when I was talking, he began talking over me and continued until I gave up. He made a joke at my expense and then said, "Come on. You gotta admit. That was funny." He wore me down and finally said that somebody named Bill would call me the next day. I never heard from them again. What I expected when I called Re-bath was to speak with a professional who would treat my request with respect and do what they could to address my concerns. What I got was a bad night's sleep.
