Worked there for half a year and got fired because some feminist corporate women took some girls fib that I was hitting on her. Funny thing was I was ignoring her when she asked me daily if I thought she was pretty and was constantly talking about relationships and love and hinting to the fact that she liked guys who looked like me. Think she got fed up or something. Also the other male cashiers were constantly talking about the looks of their female coworkers and customers and they never got a talking to but I was fired on the spot for essentially nothing. Never did anything that could have earned a talking to but I was just fired one day for “not respecting female coworkers”

What a joke.... you would think when a big company hires people , they would put them in the right areas ... if you're going to put new hiries ,Never put them in customer Services unless those of you are hired on know the job , while I was there I was also observing where they have the wrong employees placed , with Customer Service you need to be able to do your job ,instead of having people walk out , due to poor Customer services ... the gentleman that was helping me didn't have a clue what he was doing.
Hey Corp you need to observed your stores a little more

The staff in the garden department are very courteous and helpful. I find what I need most of the time. Sometimes there are pallets of items in the aisles, so it is difficult to navigate.

I bought a washing machine and had a couple issues with delivery and installation. I visited to store and spoke with the manager. She quickly contacted the supervisor of delivery and the 2 of them resolved my issue the same day. This is typical service for this store. Excellent service and very helpful

It would really be nice to ask a question at the helpdesk upfront about a new policy from my insurance company about building without the jackass behind the counter questioning, oh this must be a new liberal law. Actually, it was an insurance company which is owned by greedy Republicans, but that doesn’t matter! Tell your employees to leave politics off the floor away from customers. Hello Lowe’s I guess!

We have bought many of our trees/plants from Home Depot for the past 25 years but our last purchase of a nectarine fruit tree died and we also bought perennials which mostly died. I was told we had a guarantee for a year of the fruit tree then I called I was told I needed a receipt. I still have the tags on the tree but not the receipt so yes I do have 'proof'. Sadly, we will not be buying from Home Depot after 25 years of loyalty as we are replacing landscaping elements and therefore need to find a new place to spend our money.

One question, how in 2024 do you not have tap-to-pay? We are pretty well into the 21st century, care to join?

I went today to buy a chainsaw I picked out online. Found it, but it was locked in a cage. I walked all around looking for help, one guy just said see customer service. I waited in line; person said she will call someone. I went back, waited 5 minutes. I then left, went a mile down the road to D&B Supply. Found a better brand, lower price, and guess what, people there we all over me offering help. For smaller items I fired HD months ago, for the exact reason. Ace Hardware has lots of stuff and full of helpful folks.
