Awful customer service. Asked for a groomer and they had just hung up while I tried to figure out a time with them when I could be called back.

Fired me because I was sick and refused to pay me for my work. I thought Melinda was nice but I guess doesn’t want to honor my work I did.

Every time I bring my dogs they are so happy and excited to see the amazing staff and spend time at the Spoiled Dog. The Spoiled Dog is an absolute blessing; to know that my dogs are in safe and thoughtful hands and that not only are my dogs receiving excellent care, but they are happy is an absolute gift!! Thank you so very much Spoiled Dog!!My dogs spent a week at Spoiled Dog; thank you so very much for your excellent care; I called a couple times for updates and spoke to Jeremiah who was so kind, thank you!! We got our babies back healthy, happy, relaxed, and we are so grateful! It was the first time they were away from us and it was a terrific experience! My dogs had a great day! Thank you so very much to the wonderful dog-sitters!When I brought the dogs back to the Spoiled Dog, they couldn't get into the door fast enough; they really sincerely love their days with you; that's the most important thing to me, that they are happy and safe and I trust the Spoiled Dog, thank you so much!

When i pulled up to this place, I was so excited! Im a fur parent and always excited when i find new place for the fur babies! As i walk in the lady at the front was excited to see her order being delivered" thats for me" she sound excited! As go to hand her the order and as i was going to express my excitement and inquire more about this place. She immediately said thank you have a great day with out allowing me to talk again repeated herself in a tone like she couldn't be bothered with me. I believe everything happens for a reason and first impressions are truly important! And if she could treat a potential customer let alone delivery driver like that how does she talk to the customers they have?

Staff and owner are great. We've been taking both our dogs for boarding and grooming for years.

Melinda was excellent. She was quick, calm and friendly. My dog had never had his nails dremeled. She handled it like a pro and so did my dog. Highly recommend.

Owner doesn’t know how to handle dogs. Wouldn’t trust my dog with them completely unreliable, high chance they will call you to pick up your dog in the middle of your pets stay. Also an unsafe environment as they hang things on the kennel for dogs to chew on and pull things through.

So years ago, I used to take Frankie boy to this groomer. Kelly was his groomer back then. Kelly opened up his own shop in Star, ID. So Frankie and I followed him there. Many of you know, Frankie has since passed away. I miss him greatly every day. Alfie is my newest little man. Another yorkie. He will be 7 months in a couple weeks. They grow up so fast!! (Insert sobbing emoji lol). So Spoiled Dog is literally 5 mins from my house so I thought I'd try them again. Also, trying to get a grooming appointment these days is next to impossible thanks to all the people who are transplanting themselves to Idaho lol. Buuuuuut that's another conversation haha! So I came back to Spoiled Dog and Jordan was Alfie's groomer. I had brought Alfie in a month and 1/2 earlier to get his nails trimmed and he was so good with Jordan and vice versa. I was prepared for Alfie to scream bloody murder haha, he's still a baby and still scared of a lot of things that aren't at home. At home, he's the toughest little man there is hahahaha! I had gone online and read some reviews about Spoiled Dog and was concerned with some. I know people will exaggerate their experiences if the slightest thing doesn't go their way. However, Jordan was amazing that first trip. I then read more reviews and I know better than to do that haha! I won't say anything bad here about them, because there is nothing bad to say especially about Jordan. Dropped Alfie off for his Brazilian blowout hahaha! And of course Jordan was his stylist and he did a phenomenal job. He did exactly as I asked. Looking back, I probably should have asked to go shorter on Alfie but then again I didn't know his hair grows like a weed lol. My last yorkie, Frankie, had alopecia, so he had little to no hair especially on his back. He got a haircut twice a year lol. It'll be different with Alfie. He has a lot of hair haha! I can say enough about Jordan, such a nice guy, easy on the eyes, haha!, incredible with Alfie, just a really great guy and groomer. Alfie will definitely be seeing him again. When you drop your dogs off to groomers you never know what to expect when it comes to how the treat the animals. That's why some reviews are bad to read lol. I was very pleased with Jordan and I could tell almost immediately that he is very good with the dogs and that he actually loves his job. In his work, you can see the pride he takes in it. Ok I said I wouldn't say anything bad, but I'm about to. I guess this would be considered "bad" Alfie weighs about 4lbs. Right now, he's very small. His haircut cost me $52! That's INSANE to me for a tiny dog. I remember when big dog's were $65 and now little ones are not far behind. I get inflation is happening and it's worst in decades, but holy s**** I winced so hard when he said that especially for a 4lb yorkie. So if you're worried about cost and have a little guy or girl and don't want to spend that much, then this place might be one to look over. Otherwise, if you decide to go with them, absolutely go with Jordan. Wow! I guess that's it lol Thanks for reading, Yelpiiiieryiess!! I've attached Alfie pics to show his haircut:) Cheers!

Spoiled dog is the only place I would trust with my two dogs. The staff takes time to get to know each dog ( and it's owners), so we all feel comfortable! Melinda is an artist at grooming. We have a standard poodle and she makes him look so pretty!

Loyal customer since before they opened their downtown eagle location. Never understood why my family chose to take our dog here because Melinda the owner is so incredibly rude and unprofessional. Someone like this doesn’t deserve business from anyone. Our dog gained about 6 pounds while he was being kenneled there because they didn’t follow our feeding instructions. When we went to pick him up, Melinda berated us for our dog being overweight. He gains weight very easily and we have him on a consistent, healthy diet to keep it under control. It was really offensive being put down by someone we had paid SO much money, only to not follow our instructions and then shame us. Not only that, but after a grooming appointment, employees TIED a slip collar around my dogs throat, he could barely breathe when they brought him out to us. Point being, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not only is Melinda an unpleasant person, but they won’t exactly “spoil” your dog, either.

Absolutely love this place for our German Shorthaired's daycare and exercise. We go a couple times a week, for the better part of a year now, and they are so nice to her and welcoming. Can't say enough positive things about them.
